Joshua Margherit, known by his stage name Gravage, is a rising force in the bass music scene, celebrated for his electrifying DJ sets and innovative productions. Hailing from Western Canada, Gravage’s  journey into music began at the Shambhala Music Festival in 2012, a pivotal moment that came in the wake of profound personal loss— It was at Shambhala’s iconic Salmo River Ranch, amidst its vibrant community and pulsating beats, that Gravage discovered his passion for bass music, finding solace and purpose in its raw energy.
Driven by this transformative experience, Gravage dedicated himself to mastering the art of DJing and production. His natural talent and relentless work ethic allowed him to hone his craft with remarkable speed. Over the past 12 years, Gravage has become a staple in Western Canada’s festival circuit, delivering high-octane performances at events like Curiosity, Altitude, Restart, and other regional festivals. His sets are renowned for their “gnarly” intensity, blending heavy basslines, intricate sound design, and infectious rhythms that captivate dancefloors. A recent review raved, “Gravage actually plays some of the gnarlyest music I’ve ever experienced… it’s going to be top tier sound.”
Gravage’s music reflects his personal journey—resilient, emotive, and unapologetically bold. Drawing inspiration from the communal spirit of festivals like Shambhala, he creates immersive sonic experiences that resonate with fans of bass music and beyond. As he continues to evolve as an artist, Gravage remains a proud representative of Western Canada’s electronic music scene, pushing boundaries and leaving audiences eager for more.

Hailing from the garden route, being inducted into the world of psytrance at the early age of 15 Ignited a passion for the deep pulsating rhythms and Otherworldly soundscapes of Psychedelic music that provided The spark that  set fire to a Journey of self discovery and studying the craft that is Mixing and Producing . Hooked to the Psychedelic culture and music he became dedicated towards his craft ever since.

His first Gathering that he played was the Echo Air Gathering 1st of October 2016.
Having played a number of Gatherings around the Garden-Route such as Echo Air, Echo Spirit and Echo Elements of life. He played at Numerous Gatherings Hosted by the Modern Primitives i.e Hug a tree, Springadelic(Hosted at the beautiful Wildfarm)
He was Also invited to play at Cosmic Circus on the 27th of April 2018 and then also Universal Alignment on the 27th of July 2018.   
He has even stretched his feelers all the way to the Mother City where he played his first Paradigm on the 8th of February 2019
