The mission of SEV 1NE 8IGHT is to return New York City back to the forefront of the Hip-Hop scene. SEV 1NE 8IGHT artist do not like to focus on this esoteric sound of "BOOM BAP" which is labeled the New York Style but would much rather knock down these walls and re shape it completely. With artist such as AJ Taylor, Slim Pudge, and Jodi Summers under the SEV 1NE 8IGHT name this idea of reconstructing New York isn't so far fetched.
