A collaboration between lyricist and rapper Seedy and beginning producer/composer/vocalist Dallandra Ann. This track explores creative freedom and our vision of intertwining ethereal melodies with conscious lyrics and beat. 

Born from the heart- this track reflects on journeying through life- dealing with strife- and learning to look for the light on the back end of darkness.

This EP was started in 2018, the tracks have been revisited and morphed through the years, modified and changed to reflect the various flow states and emotional stages undergone in this time, arriving at this final and resting form.

They embody a style that was influenced by the melodic and full-on material that Osciloptix was creating at the time, and they are the seeds of what is to come, the proto-metamorphosis of the next stage in the Oscilopsian evolution.

In Spin Cycle, this happens to two previously siloed genres -- to astonishing results. A genre-defying, innovative three-stage project rooted in authenticity: 1st Stage: Four of the hottest Canadian composers wrote four distinct works for the Afiara Quartet; 2nd Stage: Skratch Bastid brought his world-renowned scratch styling to transform the works into standalone remixes; 3rd Stage: the composers answered the remix by bringing the Afiara back into a full conversation and meeting of minds.

I have always had a drive to create music that was a little different and creative. Something that will bring out your inner flow & tap into our ancestors from around the world through sounds & dance. 

This is the first song I've ever made & first attempt at making music. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
