Russian producer Zatonsky returns to Bonzai Progressive, but this time he marks his full release debut with Mad Array, after he graced us with his remix on Alexey Lisin & Ange's - Vesna back in June 2015. With a very impressive list of tracks across various labels we can see why this guy is in great demand. We sure hope to see more from this guy and his brand of deep and moody grooves. Featuring a brilliant vocal from Russian singer-songwriter Alexandra Pride, this one comes packed with remixes from Alexey Lisin and Dapa Deep.

The Original Mix intros with a smooth deep and moody chord alongside crispy hats and claps as an arpeggiated soft key comes through. The beautifully sultry vocal from Alexandra soon takes over and leads the track on to its deep grooving course. Big chunky kicks join giving the track a dance floor boost that will surely get bootys shakin all night long. The bass line combines perfectly with the vocal creating a melancholic vibe full of deep house flavours with a slither of progressive peeking out. Top notch stuff you'll not want to miss.

Alexey Lisin steps in to return the favour on remix duty and delivers another stunning slice of his brand of deep house sounds. His last outing for BP - Try My Soul, also featured the superb vocals of Alexandra Pride and gained a lot of support across the board. We know we are getting only the very best quality music when this guy's involved. The remix intros with a cool percussive arrangement that builds up slowly to form into a monster deep house groove complete with a rumbling bass line and some classy chords. Tight drums deliver a solid rhythmic feel to the track as that bass line holds up the lower end with ease. Cool synths litter the sound and fills the spaces left by the sparse vocals brilliantly. A superb slice of deepness yet again from this guy, a must have track for sure.

Dapa Deep - aka Lithuanian DJ and producer duo Darius Beinoravicius and Paulius Bukauskas - debut on BP with their remix of this fine slice of house music. Having met up in 2012 they started to produce and DJ together with each artist bringing different attributes to the table. Darius was melodic progressive kind of guy while Paulius was more into groovier house sounds. Both guys have graced the decks at top venues and played with top DJ's over the years. Together, they have blended their own styles creating a unique sound that offers a fresh approach to music. Here the remix gets going with a pacey kick and shuffling hat combo that gets the rhythms moving nicely before a gritty bass synth sweeps across the sound. The track breaks to reveal a deep droning bass alongside those super sweet vocals and bright melodic plucks. With a deep house groove running through this one, we get a taste of progressive flavours in there also which makes for a very interesting sound, combing melody and melancholy to great effect. A wonderfully crafted slice that will grab a lot of attention no doubt.

Quincy debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic 'In Balance' which is backed up with two outstanding remixes. The Original Mix intros with a classic kick and hat combination which sets the pace of the track up beautifully. The deep bass is accompanied by a cool riff that evolves as the track progresses. Cool rising pads lead into a superb break filled with melodic sequences and some nifty percussions before getting right back into the groove. Great stuff here and a definite must for the more upbeat prog sets. Belgian duo Benoit Franquet and Cedric Piret aka Pole Folder & CP reunite to deliver a stunning remix. The guys have collaborated well in the past with releases on Bedrock Records. Individually they have reached the pinnacle of their respective careers and have gained much respect in the process. Here they work up a cool progressive vibe as the track intros with a sharp hat and a smooth arp that dominates the sound. Nice kicks fade in setting up a very cool rhythmic arrangement with the help of quality percussions. A deep resonating bass beefs up the sound and adds to the hypnotic tendencies as a result. 

In contrast, a sweet pluck adds a beautiful texture, superb stuff! The legend that is Airwave is next up to remix duties with his now signature Breaks Mix. Laurent has proven time and time again this his status as legend is very well deserved given the quality of his own material and also the quality he pours into remixes like this. Very subtle intro with some FX and percussions, a rising cymbal is greeted by nice and chunky kicks in breaks style. The ever teasing synth pads weave intricate melodies that just sit back and create an air of beauty. The beats are ever evolving and in full swing they are something to behold and when the melodies burst forth you get an intense euphoric vibe which just feels right. An incredible remix and no doubt will be very well received!

Taken from his second studio album Artificial Star and featuring a superb vocal from Jimmie Westwood, Audio Noir's Far From Home gets the remix treatment delivering three very different takes on the original.

Audio Noir's Rekonstruction intros with a cool 80's electro styled drum arrangement which delivers a dancey feel to the sound. The drums are the big focus here and are soon joined by equally cool percussions that etch out smooth rhythms throughout. Swirling pads offer up a sweet melodic sequence that fizzles out to be replaced by a heavy hitting gritty bass workout that totally transforms the sound.  That gritty bass twists and morphs with an underlying acid tone and sits snuggly with the raspy vocal from Jimmie to the backdrop of some seriously shuffling hi hats and stuttering perc hits. Top notch stuff that will appeal to many for sure.

The legend that is Airwave takes on remix duties on Audio Noir's Far From Home and delivers another slice of pure progressive breaks that will get any venue to fever pitch. Airwave continues to enjoy a hectic schedule as an artist and DJ with gigs taking him all over the world. How he still finds the time to produce top quality sounds we will never know, but one thing we do know is he never disappoints. His recent showing on Bonzai & Friends 500 with the exclusive Vega Shining, was a most welcome surprise for his army of fans and no doubt we'll be seeing much more from this guy in the future. On the remix he takes us on an exciting journey that raises the energy levels with that solid breaks arrangement complete with a chunky kick and super cool snares that add a lot of character to the sound. The drums evolve throughout the track with little nuanced beats cropping up here and there while a wonderfully low bass resonates all around. Simple and highly effective short guitar riffs get the musical side flowing alongside Jimmie's New Order-esque vocal delivery. The verses of the song ride along so smoothly and melt into the sound while the chorus winds up into a brilliant climactic event. Top notch from Laurent yet again, not to be missed.

Bonzai stalwart Crocy shows up on remix duty with a fantastic progressive workout that will light up the floors no doubt. His last outing gave us a brilliant remix on Matan Caspi & Roy Lebens' Klubnichka as well as an exclusive track for Bonzai & Friends 500 entitled Bedroom Stories. The remix intros with a solid kickdrum that pounds out a nice big chunky beat. Warm synths start to fade in and are soon joined by a rhythmic percussion section that gets the feet moving toward the floor. A phat probing bass comes at us in various layers resulting in a deep driving bassline that really ramps up the energy on the track. Short vocal snippets creep through as the lead synth delivers an electrifying groove. Excellent stuff yet again from Crocy that will be a welcome addition in any set.

History learns people have always seen us as ambassadors of quality electronic music regardless the genres we touch. Over the years music has evolved, so did our musical taste, a combination which is pushing us to think more forward.

In order to focus on what we really want to do and giving artists what they deserve, it's become necessary to discontinue some of our labels. Most of these labels are part of that trance scene which we helped develop in the early 90's. The trance scene of today does not fit our vision, so we will fully focus our 3 remaining trance labels (Subtraxx, Camouflage & Nemesis) on quality progressive trance.
