The cenotaph of Newton, designed by Etienne-Louis Boullée as funerary monument to Isaac Newton, represents simplicity in its great beauty and at the same time the commemoration of the cyclical reality that the universe is doomed, in an ethereal vision that transcends the heaviness of its earthly existence.
