we are, et al., is a music project by Cebu, Philippines native, songwriter/producer Renekarl Paradela. The Bay Area, CA, based artist has released 3 self-produced albums, Bipolar Happiness (EP 2013), ...for the most part. (EP 2017) and Nomad Heart (2018). With a strong DIY ethic he writes, performs, records every instrument/track (except otherwise noted).  

His latest album Nomad Heart (2017) was recorded in his home studio in CA before selling all his gears to travel. All songs were edited and mixed on a laptop while living in his car on the road for the next 11000+ miles across 30+ states - the project took more than 6 months from concept to release. 
 
He plays live with his band and busks on busy, and lonely, streets everywhere.

He is currently working on his first book and fourth album, TBA 2019
