We started “Simple” in Los Angeles, California together with Fiction and RyU. 

We layed down a basic beat and started writing to it. 
Fiction recorded some really nice vocals and we knew it would be something special. 

A few weeks later in Bali, Indonesia we booked a studio session to work on the track some more. Bali really inspired us with new sounds, and we wanted to incorporate those sounds in the drop of “Simple”. 

We think this track is a perfect mix between the raw LA vibes, our hiphop roots and the ethnic sounds of Bali.

I'm stoked to finally share my first "dreamr." original with you all! When I made the decision to rebrand, I knew I wanted to evoke a certain feeling with my music. I wanted my music to feel good, but also give listeners a sense of nostalgia, and sentimentality.

When https://soundcloud.com/exede-music sent me the initial demo, I knew I could throw my own spin on the track and we could really make this something else. The record came together so fast, it was like it was meant to be.

Hailing from the lowlands of Rotterdam, now often residing in Los Angeles, meet the Dutch producer & DJ duo FANNYPACK. Their pioneering style is pushing boundaries, after the 1st release on Spinnin’ Records, their 2nd release “Simple” dropped on the Strange Fruits label reaching 100k Spotify streams in the first week. It’s clear the duo is making waves with their catchy productions. While blurring the lines between pop & edm, it’s their dynamic hip-hop inspired beats that’s proving to be the secret sauce creating their signature sound.

While the duo officially started FANNYPACK in 2018, they are no strangers in the music industry. Previously solo artists by the name of Tom Ferro and MC Buju, they have earned their stripes with releases on Armin van Buuren’s Armada, Martin Garrix’s STMPD Records, Hardwell’s Revealed Records and ghost productions for Kris Kross Amsterdam. Although they love producing, "live shows have always been our biggest passion”, proclaims the duo. Tom and Buju are renowned for their energetic live performances, with shows at events like Miami Music Week under their belt you can rest assured they’ll return to the stage.

With FANNYPACK the duo is on a mission: “We want to share our positive vibe and bring soul into the music by combining organic instrumental sounds, rhythmic hip-hop inspired beats and catchy vocals”. With multiple confirmed releases for 2019, there’s no doubt they’re here to stay.
