Raised on a diet of American Soul classics, Hanna Hais has been singing since her early childhood. In 2005 Hanna Hais released her first album 'Rosanova', which included tracks produced by Matthias Heilbronn, Sergio Flores, Ralf Gum, Mikael Delta, and Larry Heard. Following its release in Europe, the album was released all over Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, India) and in the USA. “Rosanova” reached #2 in the dance charts in Japan, and Hanna toured extensively in the Far East during the summer of 2006 to promote her album. The single ‘Rosa Nova’ was picked up by Defected and her follow-up single 'Jazz Samba', with an amazing Ian Carey remix, went straight to #1 on Traxsource. Following 'Rosa Nova', Defected released another single 'Ta Reine', which was remixed by Jamie Lewis and DJ Pierre. Again it went straight to #1 on Traxsource. Hanna Hais' tracks have been included on some of the most important and best-selling compilations in recent years including 'Defected Ibiza In The House', 'Defected Miami In The House', 'Masters At Work', 'Hed Kandi', 'Buzzin Fly', 'Ultra' and 'Cirque du Soleil'. In 2009 Hanna Hais released her second album 'Love Paradise'. Recorded in France, Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, Germany and Italy, it was produced by Jamie Lewis, Ian Carey, Ralf Gum, DJ Meme, Dutty Boyz and Alfred Azzetto. This album was more dancefloor oriented than ‘Rosanova’. Here Hanna explores new territories while still pleasing her fan base with House music that is both deep and sensual. 2011 was a busy year for Hanna Hais, with a huge tour in Latin America, an end of year tour in Asia and 5 new singles: ‘Ka Donké’, ‘Kimayo’, ‘Viva La Diva’, ‘Le Déclic’, ‘Édouard’. Hanna Hais is starting 2012 with two new singles produced by Matt hias Heilbronn in Brooklyn: ‘Il me parle en anglais’ and ‘A coté’. Hanna Hais is currently working on her third solo album. Since 2007 Hanna Hais has been DJing professionally, touring the entire world (Europe, Cent ral Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Far East, India, Latin America, South Africa, West Africa, North Africa), delivering her own style of House music and singing her own tunes to her devoted fans. Happy, lazy, cheesy, dirty, crazy and freaky – there are a lot of words to describe the “Various Freaks”.

Our first compilation is a collection of freaks. 
It is a collection of music, which reflects the typical, diversified style of We Are Freaks - some people would say it’s kind of a journey to listen to every single track on this thing.

This journey goes from the energy loaded sounds from Elternhouse, Fab Massimo, Giddibangbang and Garruk, over to the bass loaded west coast style sounds from Colossi Rah and Noise Clap. 
The journey takes us over Detroit with IOTA and his freaky & funky “Hot Hands” to Europe where we meet 
Filthy French, Aurenz, Trigger Finger, Vince Versa and Morisk. The groovy part of our journey - Ibiza tech-house vibes combined with tasty basslines makes the “Various Freaks” perfect.

We are so happy and thankful about the work, together with these great artists, which have been created a full packet of wonderful melodies and vibes.
