Premiere: Senses Of Mind - Lapis Lazuli - Untold Stories

Before we shift our focus to our 5-year anniversary proceedings, we have one more treat for you in store. German duo Add-us mark their debut on the label with their latest smash 'Find You'. The duo who has been regulars on some of the world's finest labels with their melodic techno influenced driving productions deliver a classy electronic piece of music with 'Find You' that received two superb remix treatments from Clawz SG & Jurek Riegler. 

Add-us open proceedings with their title track 'Find You' with its expansive synth chords generate a driving rhythm before the atmospheric pads and vocals take over to create a beautiful setting. Combining the best of both worlds, Add-us have come up with something unique and distinctive to make this release extra special, while applying an extra dose of groove and warmth to this incredible tune. 'Find You' stands for a fool proof and state-of-the-art piece of music, which will readily make you, take note and amaze in equal measures.

The first remix of 'Find You' comes courtesy of Clawz SG. A massive entity in his own right, he shows his experience, as the musical development is in full swing. Clawz SG kicks off proceedings with a deep, hypnotic beat which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion. A profound floaty groove and melodic techno influences, turn his rework into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. The added deep bass gradually eases its way to the breakdown, before unleashing into the rising melodic hook interwoven with the contagious groove for maximum effect. 

The second remix comes courtesy of Berlin maestro Jurek Riegler. His sound is a tough thing to pin down. He is such a unique act in the sense that his emotional creations carry quite a large scope. He is not afraid to explore esoteric or introspective themes and the end result is always a compelling one. Such is the case with his remix of 'Find Me', which carries many of his most loved production hallmarks. From a warm, meaty low end to icy atmospherics and an effects storyboard to get lost in, there is certainly a lot to love. The main break being the high point, with the mood shifting from emotive to ominous with an effortless ease. It's something you rarely see and Jurek pulled off beautifully here. Essential stuff from Jurek.

Add-us debut on ICONYC, with the amazing support from Clawz SG & Jurek Riegler, is a triumphant one. 'Find You' manages to deliver a message of sustained musical relevance in emphatic fashion to warm the soul. Tash Movement Recordings opens the month of April by welcoming Alfonso Muchacho back to the label for a new EP. With a career that spans a decade, the UK artist found his footing early on, showcasing his music via long standing imprints such as Bonzai Records and Beatfreak Recordings, while progressive music tastemakers such as Hernan Cattaneo quickly took a liking to his dance floor minded creations. 2019 marked Alfonso's Movement Recordings debut in the form of the well-received 'Stranger Danger' EP. A bond with the label was nurtured going forward, with the London resident returning in 2020 with a powerful remix of Forniva's 'Tinkerbell'. Now as we enter 2022's second quarter, Alfonso returns to Movement with a three-track showcase 'Walk on Water', alongside a remix from Matias Chilano.

Rounding out the release are 'Diamond Hands' and 'What Had To Be Done' which find Alfonso delivering two progressive minded stompers. The former delights with its robust design, wavy groove and clever cosmic storyboarding. Sitting as an ideal complement to its predecessor, buoyant arps, ghostly vocal phrasing and a forest of detailed percussion precedes an emotive break, one where trance-inducing arps and glowing swells take centerstage, as a timely drop ushers in a colourful, kaleidoscopic finale.

PREMIERE: MRSFLV - I Feel The Love (Gregory S Remix) [Truesounds Music]

Two fresh interpretations for Kamilo Sanclemente's trademark single 'Dew' which was released last year.

Industry veterans Weekend Heroes are on fire lately with a continuous output of very big releases. They've just topped the Beatport progressive house chart with their single 'Upside Down' whilst their other singles 'Lucid', 'Brightlight' and 'Dragonfly' and 'Off Limit' also moved quite a few crowds to say the least. They deliver a proper peak time melodic progressive house rework here, top shelve stuff!

On the flipside we welcome on board Ceci for his Manual Music debut. The Italian producer provides a nice contrast to the ruggedness of the other remix, going for a more laid back approach. Lovely organic instruments and flowing airy soundscapes make this a true dreamer.

Two strong remixes that certainly do Kamilo's original justice.
