Premiere: PETEL - Get Down Now [Top Board]

Stil & Bense return to the label with 'Cheat Codes'. Their last outing back in March of this year was received to high acclaim - with big support from the likes of Djuma Sound System, Eelke Kleijn AFFKT, Animal Trainer, Gai Barone, Marc DePulse and many more at the time. With their long-awaited return to ICONYC, the duo delivers a slice of summer vibes titled 'Cheat Codes'. The original track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth.

Melody Stranger, who needs no introduction created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up are Two Sins who mark their debut on the label with 2 remixes, the Russian duo known for their melodic techno influenced sound, keep the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh and exciting. Lovely rework from Two Sins. 

The duo's dub version is a stripped back affair and takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the driving beats that are working their magic around Plus Thirty's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip. 

With 'Cheat Codes' Stil & Bense really show that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smile induced moments! Rafael Cerato is back on Manual Music after the massively successful 'Warriors' collaboration single with NekliFF which also included the chart topping 'Marrakesh' track. This time the Ritual label boss operates solo and delights us with two fresh cuts; 'Monalisa' and 'Skyline'.

'Monalisa' is a raw and intense but at the same time funky and infectious late night dance floor mover. Proper peak time material here by the South American DJ and producer.

Skyline sees Australian singer Haptic showcase his emotional and almost eerie vocal contribution on top of Rafael's arpy rolling background. Intense and catchy!

'Yoshitoshi Celebrates 25 Years with Three Genre-Focused Compilations : House, Techno, Melodic House.

For the Melodic House edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we’ve focused on the tracks that were either too proggy for house or too melodic for techno. Many house historians would claim that this sound has been Yoshitoshi’s bread and butter throughout the years, and this final entry into the Yoshitoshi 25 compilation series demonstrates exactly why. As with the other two compilations, we’ve selected a handful of freshly remastered, stone-cold classics such as PQM’s “You Are Sleeping (Luke Chable Mix),” Valentino’s “Flying,” and Morel’s “True (The F****t Is You - Deep Dish Remix),” and mixed them up with the most memorable modern records from Yoshitoshi’s catalogue like OC & Verde’s “Indica,” Khainz’s “Collider,” and Red Axes’ remix of Dino Lenny’s “I Feel Stereo.” Of course the package wouldn’t be complete without some new remixes, so Sharam and Armonica have delivered some beautifully-crafted reworks of Yoshitoshi classics. Sharam takes on Luzon’s mega-classic “The Baguio Track,” turning the tune into a dark roller that has been the talk of his recent Burning Man sets. Armonica crafted an amazing remix of Anarcrusan’s “In My Mind” that winds gracefully between delicate, dreamy riffs and bouncy, bass-driven breakdowns. The final package is a perfect way to end the Yoshitoshi 25 series, giving both new listeners and longtime fans of the label an expansive view of the label’s legacy. 'Global Entry' lleva su nombre, entre otras cosas, por la diversidad de nacionalidades de los productores incluidos: Alemania, Argentina, Italia, Reino Unido, España, Rusia, Marruecos, Francia e Israel, cada uno con una personalidad propia.
