9T Antiope's 'Nocebo' LP - out now on PTP cassette and digital

'Nocebo' is the second phase from a trilogy - 'Isthmus:Nocebo:Placebo' – by Paris-based, Iranian composers, 9T Antiope (Nima Aghiani and Sara Bigdeli Shamloo). The album addresses space and time so as to create alternate worlds – those which would eventually stand to substitute the ones already in existence.

"'Nocebo', recounts the stories of beings, who have given up on their space and time, thus forcing themselves into complete isolation and eventually a self-induced comatose state. The coma state within 'Nocebo' is explored through a text and imagery which still remains inside the brains of these beings – while simultaneously addressing the personal experiences of the artists' own loved ones.”

Commissioned and produced by CTM Festival and SET Experimental Art Events, supported by the Goethe Institute.

We’re back a little over a year since the first instalment of Club Glow and this time we’ve got 2 of our close friends contributing to the next tape in our series.
The A side is brought to you by already Club Glow affiliated Mani Festo. As well as being responsible for the artwork and aesthetics for the label, he delivers an 11 track LP that traverses the sonics of the hardcore breakbeat continuum.
The B side is brought by WNCL alumni and new Club Glow recruit LMajor. Offering up a 17 track LP that spans a range of BPM’s and wouldn’t feel out of place 30 years ago, its jam packed with bangers, interludes and DJ tools.
The tape is limited to 100 copies, which come with a A5 rave flyer designed by Mani Festo and the first 25 orders get a limited edition Club Glow glowstick.
All tape purchases also include the digital files including the two sides expertly mixed by our artists as well. All digital purchase include both albums and the mixed sides.

Ahead of the Spain-based producer's release, he's handed the shocking EP title track over to Mixmag. 'The Eyes' is an almighty dose of 150 bpm rave ecstasy and madness that will blow your hair back. Reinterpreting the hardcore and acid-infused sounds of the '90s for the present, Regal's new sounds are a spectacular shot of adrenaline.

It turned out to be rather difficult to get inside the club that night. I tried to argue my way in, unfortunately without any success. Even when I used my sparse German (Lass Mich Rein) it was in vain.

What problem did the bouncers have that night?

Luckily caught sight of Wolfram, Yung Hurn, Egyptian Lover and Westbam, being followed by a huge entourage, making their way towards the entrance. Took my chances, attached myself to the group and there I was: inside the Club!

My expectations were instantly exceeded as “My Love is for Real”, an epic house ballade with distinctive Haddaway vocals, greeted me warmly in the jam packed club.

The night peaked around 5am as the DJ played an energetic, breaky piano tune with high pitched vocals and the dancefloor went completely nuts. Managed to get a glimpse on my phone, Shazam said something about DJ Gigola x RIP Swirl, what a tune! High times continued until 8am. I was among the many who stayed until the end, a happy bulk spilled out into the streets and towards the first sunrays of the day.

Except the unfriendly door staff, this was one of the best nights I had in a long time!
