Weaving wistful, introspective lyrics into a densely layered landscape of samples and sonic textures, “The Itch” interrupts reality and inserts an altered state of being—outside consensual time and space—in the here and now.
 
If reality posits a stable relation between body, consciousness, and environment, “The Itch” longs for its reversal: An oscillating movement, floating without ground, piecing reality back together through melodically recurring memories. In another register, one would call this desire. In yet another, the virtual.

mix i recorded for @untitled909 along with my 1st interview

a reason why I love music so much is that I strongly associate it with certain moments and memories in my life.The hour attempts to capture as many of these moments as possible. A few r explained in the interview but I decided to leave the majority out bc the emotions that some of these tracks evoke I couldn’t even put into words. I’d rather the mix conveys the ability of music to act as a strong vehicle of memory in its overall journey and maybe allow the listener to associate / recall some memories too.
