Berlin based DJ & producer The Reason Y follows up his contribution to the recent KPAINS3 compilation album on Kneaded Pains with a full solo release for the label.

The ‘Synaptic Transmission’ EP lands on Dense & Pika’s imprint and pulls together three new tracks of hypnotic and raw techno.

With previous releases for labels like Second State, Hydrozoa and Terminal M amongst others, The Reason Y dispatches a trio of sophisticated and deep cuts for the discerning techno lovers!

Härte Musik stands for Hard(er) Techno. The record label focuses on networking, promotion of hard(er) techno culture, as well gender equality among artists. With the ambassadors of Härte Musik, the Austrian label is bringing their next release together with Misha (aka Misa Oblak). This is going to be Misha´s world debut and her first release. We are more than happy to support her work. You will feel nothing but pure energy inside her track called “Piss me off”, which will be published on 18th November 2022 – all online stores.

Misha, the Slovenian female DJ and producer, started her path in 2019. Inspired by all the electronic festivals she went to, she wanted to try herself out as being the one behind the decks. As time was passing by, the love and passion for mixing grew. After learning all the Dj skills, her interest flew into music production. She loves exploring different genres of electronic music. She likes to produce slower, melodic, breakbeat melodies, and on the other hand, dark and fast techno tracks. She says that Techno music is not just music. It's music that connects people and brings them together.

Piss me Off

Premiere: Misha "Piss Me Off" - HÄRTE Musik

This track it’s pretty old, i’ve finished it in 2020 during COVID outbreak, but left it hanging into my unreleased tracks folder till this year. Because i love this track so much, i’ve decided that it needed to see the light of day, so there it goes.

I think that the name of the track points towards both optimistic and pessimistic feelings that i’ve had during that period.

The 150 release on Markantonios AnalyticTrail marks a special return of belgiums Duo and brothers Filterheads to the imprint with three trackers EP called Radiance.

Filterheads already released on the label two EPs, their first one was a collaboration with Gaston Zani under the name Subconscious back in 2018. The second one was collaboration with Lowerzone under the name Hard Wax back in 2020. For almost two decades now, Filterheads have also releases on the likes of Toolroom, POPOFs Form, UMEKs 1605, Unrilis, Carl Coxs Intec and Unity Records among others.

Radiance opens the EP with a hard hitting beats, splashing percussions. Mechanics comes second on the list and gives more aggressiveness to the selection. Retrospective closes the EP with a dark and euphoric break followed by a big bass and pounding kick.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’.

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.
