Live Evil fka "The Freshest Live Set” began in 2011 as a result of playing together as the crew The Freshest.  The Vancouver-based production duo consisting of DJ Marvel and Kutcorners have recently started to operate under the remix and stage alias Live Evil, which boasts a darker sonic direction for their collaborations.

Drawing on their backgrounds as club DJs the pair has had success with their live remix performances which include and array of synths, turntables, and drum pads.  Live Evil has been sharing their sound touring across North America and gaining internet praise from Pitchfork, Okayplayer, & Hypetrak, while their original productions have been receiving spins on Shade 45, and BBC Radio 1.

"The Freshest" (Marvel, Kutcorners, Rico Uno and Seko) are a musical conglomerate established in Vancouver BC in 2006 by four big fans of a wide spectrum of music. The focus of the four individuals has always been to push music, and finding creative ways of delivering it to fellow music lovers. They have maintained legendary residencies, and started many of the best club nights in Vancouver as well as playing many renowned nights in and outside of North America. The Freshest have also managed to produce a wealth of material. Original production, remixes as well as Mixtapes associated with companies like Aritzia, Fools Gold, Mad Decent, Livestock, Serato and more.
