Nikko.Z's Dopamine White rounds out the month of September by welcoming Sound Fusion to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Poland, Tomasz Weychan aka Sound Fusion first came to our attention in 2012 with a release via Colorful Recordings. Noted for his retro-trance sound, the Tczew resident would go on to release a string of projects via Darkpload, before shifting his focus to progressive house. The change in sound would see Sound Fusion find a new family of labels to call his home in Electronic Tree, Massive Harmony and Mistique Music. Now, following a well-received debut for Balkan Connection's BC2 division, Sound Fusion adds Dopamine White to his resume with ‘Monolith / Pathways'.

Beginning with the deep, engaging sounds of ‘Monolith', the Polish artist takes aim at the foggy back rooms or early club moments. A smooth DJ friendly intro sets the pace for sweeping atmospherics, wispy effects and a bevy of cosmic creativities to captivate your mind. A foundation of warm kick drums and chunky basslines carve out a smooth path into the break, as melodic top lines bring a sense of hopeful anticipation. Concise and well-crafted, the interlude reveals a thought-provoking vibe, while the trance-inducing arps percolate with each successive pass, onwards to a tasteful build and emotive conclusion.

Rounding out the release are the atmospheric qualities of 'Pathways', a track where Sound Fusion maintains his deeper melodic design. A groovy aesthetic is quickly revealed, as holographic synths emerge atop buoyant beats and voluptuous basslines, flashing through a backdrop of reverent textures, eventually culminating across a poignant break to round out the EP on an epic note.

MoBlack Records start 2020 on a strong fitting with a new EP from Outcome, a Croatian talent with a melodic and dreamy sound already on labels like Blindfold Recordings, DNC and many more.

Opener Occasum is a deep and moody house track with broad, sombre bass. It is finished with jostling percussive sounds and thundering claps in the distance and makes for a truly emotive listen and involving musical journey. Aurora is another superbly deep one with twisted bass and more moody chords up top. It is expansive music for the mind that really hypnotises.

PREMIERE : Outcome - Occasum (Original Mix) [MoBlack Records]

For the next leg in the journey of Fur Coat's imprint Oddity, Italian duo EarthLife step into the fold with a comprehensive EP consisting of four original tracks, and a remix appearance from Coeus. EarthLife is an artistic project born from the collaboration of Luca Garzione and Luigi Gargano. Developing a unique sound concept by combing influences from multiple genres, they reach their objective of creating a refined sound, full of atmosphere.

Having previously contributed to the label with tracks on the Odd Echoes VA, this is the first time the pair put forward a full EP on the imprint. Opening the package is "Redemption". The title track stays true to the pair's description of themselves, with expert use of developing synth lines and atmospheric melodies, the sound transports you to a deeper place and is perfectly suited to frame a key moment on the dancefloor.

Next up is the second original "Italia" as well as a new take from Coeus who puts forward a remix. Slightly tougher than the opener, Italia presents a more driving rhythm, a track thats designed to push a set forward. Coeus's remix takes this a step further, with strong percussion elements combined with a catchy lead, moving the listener through.

Rounding off the EP we have "Figure Astratte" and "Grace". A fitting end to the package, both tracks complement each other nicely, whilst offering totally different vibes. Both are more paired back from the previous, with Figure Astratte offering a more rolling and chilled atmosphere. Grace follows suit, but features some beautiful chord and synth progressions to create a truly alluring atmosphere.
EarthLife's first full outing on Oddity does not disappoint.

A well-rounded collection of tracks that will see play on dancefloors and stereos alike. This has something for everyone, from the energetic opener, to the beautifully climatic closer.
