IN2STELLAR is the guise of cosmic fugitives DJ Sarah and Georgia Bird. Both originally DJs in their own right, the pair's orbit synced up through their shared love of driving electronic sounds - think progressive house, Goa, electro and 90s trance.

Adopting the name IN2STELLAR - a tip of the hat to Underground Resistance's seminal '98 album - the Naarm/Melbourne-based duo have been building their reputation on home soil and across the pond, not only through their sets but also their slick productions which have so far been released on the likes of Pure Space, Sticky Tapes, WAT and Georgia's own Phenomena imprint.

As another way of sharing the sounds they love whilst building a community around them, the pair launched Neurotiq Erotiq, a party series that elevates up-and-coming DJs with a particular focus on championing women within their local scene and further afield. 

Last year saw them come over to the UK and Europe for a string of gigs, and this summer they're coming back for round two. For those who haven't been inducted into IN2STELLAR's sonic solar system just yet, we asked them to contribute to our Shine A Light On series - here's a taster of what they're all about...

Our 60th podcast comes from @aldonna, who's roots derive from Macedonia.  Founder of event/mix series Re-Leaf, Aldonna has rightfully marked her position as one of the most exciting talents to come out of Australia in recent times. She’s held down a pulsating presence on the Australian club circuit for almost a decade, as-well as having her productions rapidly pile up plays internationally. Her sound has reached all corners of the globe, from Panorama Bar and Dekmantel, to Boiler Room and Nachtdigital, just to name a few. Obtaining numerous headline shows nation-wide along the way and with a EU/UK tour in sight, she shows no signs of slowing down. Globally, her DJing hasn’t gone unnoticed either, securing a mix on the esteemed Feel My Bicep series and Permanent Vacation's 'Radio on Vacation' mix series.

Aldonna’s staggering debut ‘Morph’, on New York Imprint HOMAGE was no mean feat. Empowering, immersive, bubbling. It wanders slickly through 90s and early 00s inspired electronic soundscapes, touching on breaks, trance, and psychedelic, progressive house & techno. However, pigeonholing her sound would be giving her work a huge disservice. She conjures unique sonic pallets, yet brings together one vast yet identifiable sound and culture - rave music.

Aldonna is an up-and-coming DJ making a name for herself through highly uplifting dance floor sets. She incorporates a variety of genres wherever she plays, highlighting her love for early '90s and '00s house. Alongside these releases she has also contributed tracks to numerous highly successful VAs on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Semi-Delicious, Terrazzo Trax, Maai Records & more.Her unique approach to music production has led to incredible
credits, premiers, and reviews from the likes of Mixmag, Trommel, Resident Advisor and support from many esteemed artists such as Job Jobse, Palm Trax, Saoirse, Sally C, Cromby, Jennifer Cardini, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Eclair Fifi, Fantastic Man & more.

Evidently, Aldonna is one to watch. She continues to prove herself as a powerful figure in dance music with a momentum and following that is swiftly expanding.
