Born in Jakarta, in the 80’s @dea-barandana grew up with the sound of Indonesian city pop and new wave. Nowadays he lives in Bali, where he's a resident DJ at Potatohead Beach Club. We had a pleasure to have Dea here in 2019 for NYE playing at Bar da Praia. 

Described by Gilles Peterson as ‘The best DJ I’ve heard in 10 years’, Dea recorded a mixtape for us playing some rare world songs.

One of the things that we love the most from the beloved berliner underground is the huge quantity of unknown/underrated djs that scene provides. The ones we decided to move here we always get surprised about dj's that one can see at the most filthy and infamous venues, being not strcktly necessary to go to Panorama Bar to see a nice set.

We introduce you this month to EXOTIKA, good friend and great selector. Joan Bernat the guy behind the name, is one of those obsessed diggers that are always in the search of the perfect beat and the warmest vibe. Balearic, downtempo, protohouse and everything in between is the leitmotif of the catalonian dj.

Member of the amazing collective "Ceremony", one of the hottest underground parties in Berlin, along with Nirel Nica, Llupe and Rafa (who already signed an MM Cast last year)

Tijuana's disco top dogs <3 the two Señores responsible for throwing some of the most solid parties we've had the pleasure of being part of in Mexico. Coming from backgrounds of true musicianship, organic sounds clearly have a special place in their hearts, paying homage to the golden age foundations of dancefloor music when studio musicians inhabited recording studios. A lush selection of pre-MIDI wealth with some early synth and drum machine nuances skillfully mixed in this beautiful weekend kickstarter package.
Oro Negro is a duo formed by Das Falco and More Lotion ; musicians, DJs, designers, and producers from Tijuana. Active since 2014 with a selection leaning toward dance tracks produced between 1977 and 1993, they have managed to position themselves in the electronic music party circuit on both sides of Mexico's northern border. Co-Founders of Discoteca Seducción, residents of Marko Disko (2022), and also residents of the mythical Sunday Sunday party, Oro Negro are no strangers to a tasteful dancefloor. Tijuana Strong. Hailing from Paris, Gautier Honorez, aka Monodominical is another top brass veteran digging deep in the trenches of European disco, sifting tightly through the endless catalogues of late 70s and early 80s dancefloor oriented releases. Heavy on the French and Italian fronts, this mix should serve as a good offramp to send you out into the weekend with a pleasant pep to your step. Justin Van Der Volgen is an American DJ and producer living in New York City. Known for his extended sets and varied musical style, he’s equally comfortable in foggy warehouses, dirty bars and seaside festivals.
Having released music across respected labels such as Golf Channel, ESP Institute and Running Back, his productions receive support from small and big room DJs alike. 2012 saw the release of the Edit Channel XXX 12” which has since gone on to become one of the biggest selling and most played edits of the last decade. Other notable works include his track Clapping Song and remix of Soft Rocks’ “Talking Jungle”.
Justin currently runs the My Rules record imprint, where he has a hand in the production of every release. The label not only provides a platform for all of his recent solo outings but also offers a stylistically broad range of releases: from his remixes of the likes of dance music heavyweight Todd Terje to Japanese new-wave group The Creams.
