I'm thrilled to share my new album, titled "Early Origin" after my record label.
This album has 10 songs that were created between 2016 and 2022.

01. Garth Slough (2020). This song was created in 2020 as a last-minute nighttime draft. The concept began with a bass sample, which was then layered with a soft pad and a lead. It just took me 3 hours to complete. The title "Garth Slough" was selected at random.  There is a lake in the US is called Garth Slough.

02. Otis (2022). Was the latest track by that moment. Named in honor of my close friend OtIS. In order to make this track sound deeper and more enigmatic, I tried to depart from my usual style.

03. Osx000 (2022). This song was created immediately after "Otis." When OtIS performed Gobber by Cirez D on one of his livestreams, I thought it would be fun to experiment with the same preset to create my own vision.

04. Origin (2022). "Origin" was created at the end of 2022 to harken back to the progressive house of the 2007–2010 period. Being a huge fan of this genre gave me the inspiration to start writing my own music in 2015.

05. Radiance (2018-2022). The original version of this song was published on SkyTop in 2019. This track was one of my best creations at the time, and I really love it.

06. Afterglow (The French Mix) (2020). There are several variations of this song. The original mix was created at the beginning of 2020. The same year, in May, Fehrplay held a remix competition. I made some new friends during the competition who continue to encourage and help me today. One of them is Gøtborg. He offered to add his own spin to the first "Afterglow." This is the outcome. I really like what he did, the arrangement and lead vocals gave "Afterglow" the vibe it needed.

07. Universal Solution (2022). I want to thank my friend Connor Martin. This song came out following Connor Martin's first two releases from "Early Origin." The mood and energy of Connor's releases served as my inspiration for Universal Solution. Sadly, the publicly available mix is a draft in progress. The original project file was lost, but the track still sounds good and playable for live shows.

08. Solution (2016-2022). "Solution" was initially published in 2017. The track was created a few days before the new year of 2017 while working the night shift. It took around two hours to complete the track. Throughout these years, I frequently went back to the project to add fresh touches. Here is the end outcome by 2022.

09. Lesson Two (2019-2020). This song was created in 2019. I attempted to sign it a few times, but record labels never responded. I'm ecstatic to share "Lesson Two" with you at this time because it has been waiting to emerge.

10. White Rock (2019). It was initially written while I was traveling through China. This song was originally intended to be included in the release "Full Control", but its inclusion was later decided. The mountain in Cremona, Kachi Kalyion, inspired the name of the course because of its stunning white color.

After three so elegant, as well as successful EPs on the mother ship, you can sometimes get cocky. Jonathan Kaspar invites himself to the Speicher Party and really lets his hair down. “Topper” may or may not refer to Charlie Sheen’s epic performance in ‘Hot Shots’. It certainly takes no prisoners either. The track rattles and squeaks like an old feather bed while… oh, let’s leave that to your imagination. After such an exhilarating burst of exuberance, comes “FEZ” to smooth the waters. An arpeggio that seems quite serious at first glance doesn’t quite manage to get past Jonathan’s riotous mood unscathed. Half he pulled it, half it sank into him. Nobody gets out of here without a hangover.

Heute laden wir euch zu einer sinnlichen, aber auch deepen und tanzbaren Episode voll des Charmes, der Gelassenheit und der epischen Momente ein.

Irgendwie Musik, die einen immer an eine sonnige Bühne auf dem Festival katapultiert. Hierbei zeigt er ein ausgsprochens Feingefühl im Trackpicking und dem Aufbau von Stimmungen. Schon alleine der Anfang des Mixes ist fein säuberlich gewählt und läutet sanft in die bevorstehenden 3 Stunden Musik ein. Im Verlauf serviert er dem Hörer tanzbare, teils deepe und bouncige Stücke, die kein Bein ruhig stehen lassen. Ab und zu versprüht er auch eine Art Afterhour Nostalgie,  wie zum Beispiel bei Minute 59 und diesem epischen Track. Sagenhaft.

✔️ Was sind eure musikalischen Einflüsse?

I could name so many artists who have inspired me in different ways along my musical path. I can't help but to mention Mira, Janoma, Caleesi, Sarah Kreis, Niki Sadeki, Elias Doré and Unders, from whom I've drawn countless inspiration, yet the list is much longer than this. Also festivals like Fusion, Garbicz, Bucht der Träumer and Burning Man have had a huge impact on the music I play.

Unlike many artists out there, I didn't grow in a musical home. My blood family is big, but as far as I know, none of them is a musician. But somehow I found again and again amazing references from different music paths, from whom I could learn and integrate a lot. I for sure had a progressive rock and a jazz phase, which occasionally can be heard in some of my sets. Before I started to dive deep into electronic music, I was obsessed with a progressive metal band called Dream Theater. One wouldn't notice their influence on me, but listening to their conceptual albums has definitely taught me a lot about how to build a set and tell a story.

✔️ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

A strong desire to dance and an urge to connect, which keeps people from going home despite being physically exhausted. The tiredness invites people to be closer together and the music to be slower. It should still be driving enough to keep people dancing and soft enough to create intimacy, warmth and depth. In my opinion, the combination of all of these elements together is what makes a great afterhour (: 

✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

This might sound daring, but if I'm honest, I created "Intimacy" with the imagination of a set I could listen to at a festival as well as while making love. I've built it in waves. Some parts are sexy, charming or even mystical, some are tender and romantic and others are simply deep and wild. It definitely is very warm throughout the whole journey, and the last 30 minutes feel like a long and melting musical hug. Overall, I believe "Intimacy" also captures well the beginning of the summer vibes and is a great festival warm up (;
