Soundspace Premiere Series (Part 5)

Today we have a premiere that the old-skool ravers may recognise. Originally released in 1993, ‘Jungle Line’ by Carl Giammarese and Mystic Bill was a staple of most house sets and now over 20 years later, the track is getting a re-release.

Coming out digitally on July 7 via Luke Solomon's Classic Music Company imprint, the track is getting another run and this time features some huge remixes from the likes of Dungeon Meat and Eats Everything. 

Our remix premiere today is from house hotshot Eats Everything and the Bristolian can do no wrong at the moment. After a blow-out residency at London's XOYO and with Edible now a regular party around the world and on the festival circuit, Dan Pearce is smashing it.

Hotflush unveils its second release of 2015 in the form of a collaborative single between label mainstay Locked Groove and ascendant Italian duo Mind Against.

With both acts coming off the back of triumphant finishes to 2014 - the success of Locked Groove's huge Enigma EP and Mind Against's surge into #33 position in Resident Advisor's 2014 DJ poll - 'Elysium / Pulsar' marks the first time the producers have collaborated. The end result combines Locked Groove's punchy, dancefloor-ready aesthestic and the emotionally resonant melodics that Mind Against have made their signature since breaking through with Life And Death in 2013.

‘Resonance (Matrixxman remix)’ sees the US producer retain some of the immersive atmospherics of the source material with a revolving synth melody and heavy doses of reverb, but add greater weight with the underpinning of a crunching techno bassline.

Taken from his forthcoming "She Thought She Would Last Forever" LP, Abstraxion returns to his own Biologic imprint with 'Spazieren'.

Abstraxion’s career has already seen many highlights, two of which have been the label he runs with Belgian producer DC Salas reaching its ten year anniversary this year and playing in some of the best clubs in the world. With "She Thought She Would Last Forever," Abstraxion's second LP contrasts themes of melancholia and explores the tension between expectation and reality, stretching dark and dystopian atmosphere alongside an overarching and swelling euphoria.  

As it stands, ‘Spazieren’ is a 10-minute leisurely passage through dystopia that has been crafted with finesse. With a special remix package available next month that features Ripperton, Mattheis, Conforce and INIT giving their own takes on the forthcmoing LP's single, explorative nature of the album is on full display.

"Spazieren" is available 12 September & "She Thought She Would Last Forever" is available 10 October on Biologic Records

Stephan Hinz returns to Second State once again, painting the canvas of silence with his masterstroke of imposing drums and vicious hooks. 'Venom' is Hinz' latest offering and comprises four incredibly massive tunes which perfectly showcase his evolving sound of Techno's best in peak time pandemonium. 
The title track 'Venom' kicks off the EP with a devilish throbbing groove while mischievous organ stabs rise and fall generating an impeccable balance between tough and playful. 'Primal' follows up with a more devious style where relentless percussion and sinister synth stabs culminate into absolute debauchery. Switching gears, 'Out Of It’ shows Stephan twisting the track's elements into a grooving, up-beat tool with a contagious faction of ingredients that transform into a sublime trip suitable for a million situations. 
Clinching the EP is a venture into the ethereal: the aptly titled 'Shadowselves' takes a journey into the dramatic world of villainous sonics and surging tones creating a labyrinth of dense atmospherics before winding into a grand crescendo.

Ever since we heard Cleveland's 'Travelguide' EP on WHITE we've kept an eye on the upcoming producer and we premiered the beautiful 'Snake Charm' two years ago. 

His edit of 'Dystopia' though may be his best yet and it's an eerie, twinkling track that paints a dream-like landscape for the ears. What starts as a delicate and soft cut soon progresses into something with far more weight and fervour.
