Exploited Club warmly welcomes back Mexican talent Levantine who follows up his previous Acid Infatuation EP on Exploited Club with another dose of his trademark sound: a deft interweaving of Eurodance and Italo - this time with the addition of a some sultry Spanish vocals.  

The backbone of 'Adicción De Amor' is a kit of rich, full spectrum drums that land with seismic force. They form a stout foundation for the track while a climbing, dynamo synth riff loops through over the top and a delicate spoken vocal floats with a contrastingly subtlety touch.

A fervid tension continues to course as high frequency FX and drum fills are expressively scattered and splashed before an Italo remix provides another side to the coin.

Slightly slowed and stripped back, the energy marches toward a spacious breakdown that creates a void for the vocals before the burly drums bite back with full force and an LFO sends the synth line flickering like a strobe throughout the conclusion of a classy record that melds retrograde synthesis with sharp, punchy sonics.

Helsloot & mOat team up with Pete Josef for the third single from Body Language Vol. 27 with the soulful and uplifting “Guard Your Joy.”

Get Physical Music announces a new edition of its iconic Body Language series with Volume 27, curated by Dutch producer Helsloot. Launched in the early 2000s, Body Language began as an influential DJ mix series, showcasing underground trends and forward-thinking club sounds. Over time, it has evolved into an artist-driven concept album, with past editions curated by Dixon, DJ Hell, WhoMadeWho, Francesco Tristano, Monkey Safari, Yulia Niko, and label founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y.

Now stepping into the role of curator for Volume 27, Helsloot brings his melodic, vocal-driven sound to the forefront. Known for his global breakthrough with Tinlicker on “Because You Move Me”, Helsloot has since built a reputation through releases on Anjunadeep, Domino, This Never Happened, and Get Physical.

Following the singles “Be Strong” and “We Get High”, the journey continues with the heartfelt “Guard Your Joy”, a collaboration with mOat and featuring the sublime vocals of Pete Josef. Built on a flowing rhythm and airy groove, the track carries a warm bass melody beneath Josef’s soulful delivery. The arrangement evolves with effortless precision, creating a blend of intimacy and dancefloor energy that highlights the strengths of each collaborator.

The song itself began in a traditional way, with guitar and notepad, giving it a raw, organic foundation. Lyrically, it reflects on relationships and loss, asking what remains after everything is said and done — and what is truly worth protecting. The answer, as Josef delivers with warmth and sincerity, lies in joy and friendship. 2020, a new decade Time for a little reflection, time for a spot of soul seeking, time for some personal contemplation. Or Acid Contemplation as Charlie Thorstenson likes to call it.

Continuing his elegant rise up the techno echelons, here we find the non-surfing Swede digging unfathomably deep in all possible directions on his spiritual stomping ground Ovum. It all kicks off with Acid Contemplation, an elephantine track that sets the broad field parameters thanks to its thundering kick/bass combo, subtle acid twangs and gentle piano breezes.

Its backed by two more equally forthright, widescreen messages: Distorted Chamber is a juggernaut design that captures the pure essence of techno that builds and builds until its very final throes. Unrelenting and ever-mutating with tightly weaved layers, this one is all about the momentum while the grand finale Trenger Dig is all about Charlies knack for intensity and drama. Gritty, pulsating and once again rising and rising until the very last moment, Trenger Dig is a certified siren of a tune, the type of which will work in any mix and guarantee elevation levels necessary for maximum reflection, soul seeking and of course contemplation.

He's back. Last spotted on Ovum asking, "Where Am I?" way back in 2003, French 303 maestro, Brique Rouge patron and all-round OG David Duriez makes a long overdue return to the acid mothership with two extreme slices of late night darkness.

"Plastic Tracks" is the pinnacle of David's plastic series over the years. The ultimate compound crusher; its venomous acid spikes and crushing kicks make it a behemoth of a session that can whip up any level of untold frenzy. "Crank" brings the chaos in a different way. Bubbling and grinding over a loose rolling almost tribal groove, over the course of almost nine minutes were sucked deep inside an acid black hole and lose all sense of gravity.

Addictive, intoxicating and too much fun mix. Welcome back David!
