Our heroes are back in the game with new artists whose sound suits Nazca Records like a glove. On the one hand, Los Suruba proudly presents @thomasgandey, an artist with international cult status, having released an abundance of electro futurism. On the other hand, @mia-mendi, a duo obsessed with uniting melancholic ambience, loaded drums and modulating melodic leads. 

These three artists are very similar to our Viracochas, beings of a different world that observe, admire and get inspired by the Nazca, lovers of art, beauty and nature. This time the Viracochas have also become creators. They bring their futuristic energy to summon resilience and progress through sound. An Argentinean maestro forges a mesmerising new “Encounter” that bristles with organic energy and intense beauty. Hannes Bieger (@hannesbieger) is perhaps better known for his immense and highly regarded back catalogue as a mixing and mastering engineer on other people's records, as well as various other ‘behind the scenes’ technical gifts. Born in Hamburg and now living in Berlin where he runs his own production studio, this EP gives his talents as a house music producer space to shine - and that's exactly what it does. 

'Strato' kicks off the EP - a 9 minute journey into exquisitely produced and highly effective dance music - an epic dancefloor killer that could draw comparisons with masters such as Ame in terms of impact.

Rhyolite' is another extended dive into the house music hinterlands - a deep groove that gives a home to some incredible sound design that builds and builds throughout the track.

Ruede Hagelstein (@ruede) drops by to add his distinct flavours to 'Strato' for the third track on the release - taking it into even deeper zone - a stripped down, minimal yet emotive workout for the late night crews.

Following a slew of phenomenal releases on imprints such as Poker Flat Recordings, Bedrock and Flying CIrcus in 2018, Berlin-based electronic act Hannes Bieger returns to Poker Flat for his first EP of the new year, 'Chemistry'.

Ahead of the release this March, Hannes has offered up the records b-side, 'El Fuego' - a thick, mischevious with tricky acid lines and dramatic stabs that make this tune an absolute dancefloor fire (or fuego) starter.

'Chemistry' drops on March 8 via Poker Flat Recordings.
