Original tune by the super collaboration between Space Motion and Javier Gonzalez which brings an outstanding Progressive anthem and remains the old good times of this genre that seems to be back. On the remix side, we have the first one by head-honcho Kintar who adds his ultimate Afro-Tech sound and high energy. Second remix, deep afro and ethnic one by SIS that took the original vocal turning it into a hooky voice that will bring you deep to a place that you'll feel comfortable to dance till death.

Eskuche - Freak

Following up his 2017 debut ‘Halo’ EP on Saved, we’re welcoming Italian DJ and producer, Simone Liberali back to the label this month with his brand new ‘Landslide’ EP. His music – distinguished for its powerful, percussive and playful sound, has found homes on labels including Incorrect, NONSTOP, elrow, Material and AVOTRE as well as seeing him tour the world and play in renowned clubs across the globe including Egg London, elrow Barcelona and Pacha & Sankeys in Ibiza. Lead track ‘Landslide’ kicks things off with percussive drums and mesmerizing atmospherics whilst Jinadu’s soulful, soothing vocals offer a memorable hook which is at once uplifting and enchanting yet tinged with a beautiful melancholy. ‘Discordia’ closes out the EP, a playful loop-driven groove with a bouncing bassline, shuffling snares, warped synths and vocal chants that ebb and flow throughout the composition.

Simone Liberali Feat. Jinadu - Landslide

‘Camargue’ gets a fresh treatment on Drumcode, as a handful of techno’s finest give new life to an R&S classic. 

Coming from the studio of CJ Bolland and Portuguese journeyman The Advent, the track was born out of a golden age of Belgium dance music and first released in 1992. It stands as one of the most treasured pieces of vinyl in Adam Beyer’s collection and this six-part compilation of remixes and remakes marks a highpoint in Drumcode’s history. 

The package consists of a punchy pin-sharp 2019 version of the original, as CJ Bolland and The Advent polish the edges of their time-honoured rave favourite. Maceo Plex makes his return to DC after 2014’s ‘Conjure Dreams’ and his is a bustling industrial take, with distorted vox that gives way to sheaths of stirring melody, before the spine-tingling chords enter the fore and the cut drops into broken beats. Vintage Maceo. Enrico Sangiuliano delivers a trademark cosmic rework underlined by tribal bass stabs and twisted synth lines to accompany the famous riff. It’s an outstanding remake that’s already a big summer favourite for the Drumcode crew. Adam Beyer and Layton Giordani team up with their own groove-injected, future-focused adaption, all the while never losing sight of the misty-eyed spirit of the original. In contrast to the peak-time prowess of the other respective versions, rising Dutch talent Keith Carnal moulds a liquid smooth interpretation heavy on hypnosis and sparse drums. The Advent rounds out the package with his own fresh version, a whip-smart cut that chops and changes between pounding drums, dreamy synth interludes and warbled effects.

If you’ve stepped into any club over the last six months, chances are you’ve heard a Wheats record playing. His tracks are dominating the Dance circuit and he’s one of the most in-demand and talked about new producers on the scene with releases on Sola, Toolroom, MadTech, Undr The Radr and Freakin909. Wheats continues to impress with every release, showcasing a truly playable big room sound that doesn’t just comply with current trends. 'After a small hiatus Sync Forward returns to present its 45th release, featuring the debut EP of Australian DJ/Producer Kalkara.

The first track entitled 'Dream Theater' is a monster techno track with grumbling undertones, elaborate percussion, and an unforgettable arpeggio. Intellectual and harmonious, it gets all the right ingredients to create a pure dance-floor track.

Up next comes the remix of 'Dream Theater' by the label owners Remotion, giving it a more melodic twist to the original framework. Featuring stripped-back drum grooves that make way for sweeping mutating soundscapes of menacing synths and a breakdown that is absolutely vicious.

Up next is 'Thunder', with its busy and crisp drums, smooth synths, and subtle pads adding to a real sense of interpretation of textures and melody by the producer.

Last but not least is 'Volare'. Experimental and percussive in nature nit has a truly irresistible groove. The stab in the back and the abstract growling sounds, perfectly encapsulate the artist's attention to detail and form.

A heavy and complete package making it an absolute banger of a release.'
