The next release on ICONYC Noir sees Filip Fisher return to the label featuring a collaboration with Bojan B. The Serbian producer delivers a stunning 2 track EP called 'Dreamless' to announce his return in style.

The opening title track 'Dreamless' has been causing havoc on dancefloors this summer and delivers quintessential dance grooves. 'Dreamless' is interspersing with filtered stabs and stunning beat which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement. The understated yet driving bassline powering the groove from start to finish. Filip manages to keep the energy up, allowing the driving melodic techno feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. Essential stuff!

Next up we have 'Mirrors' which Filip produced in collaboration with fellow Serbian producer Bojan B. Driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive melodic techno vibes are the name of the game to satisfy clubbing, uplifting and feel-good needs courtesy of this beautiful and extraordinary track. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the track, underpinned by a deep bassline that gradually eases its way to the breakdown. A great track to close out the EP and to get you moving.

With 'Dreamless', Filip Fisher really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful melodic release guides you to a dance floor heavy, melodic hug of a release that will leave you with many smile induced moments! Not to be missed.

Nightlife’s International treasure, Heidi is back with the second release on her label project, this time presenting ‘Jackathon Jams feat. Alexis Raphael & Marc Houle’. With bubbling UK talent, Alexis Raphael at the helm and a remix by Items and Things label boss Marc Houle, this is a nifty little collection of club weapons with that all-important Jackathon swagger.

Heidi started her Jackathon Jams imprint earlier this year, bringing Miss Kittin, Maya Jane Coles and tINI together in one tidy package and is next championing Alexis Raphael, one of London’s favourite DJ/Promoters. With a handful of sensational tracks under his belt (on Hot Creations and Lower East) and running one of London’s most popular club nights Crèche, it’s no wonder Alexis has caught the attention of Heidi.

Delivering two special productions for the imprint’s sophomore release, both tracks carry a nod to retro house with some offbeat modern flavour. A-side ‘Brickwall’ kicks off with sauntering percussion and a rubbery bassline soon to be invaded by wonky synths and FX along with a central vocal line. Second original ‘You Can Do It’ follows in a similar vein with another distinctive spoken male vocal entering the pulse of the rough-edged, jacking groove.

A superb Marc Houle remix rounds off the package as the Berlin pioneer takes ‘Brickwall’ and bestows his own stripped back and expansive approach, warping the vocal to form a barely recognisable framework then unleashing darkly seductive chimes, building the drama with big beats and abstract melodies.
