Clergy returns for its 9th instalment with a club ready EP of serious weapons from label mainstay, and one half of Works Unit, Reflec. The four track release opens with 'Acid Response', in which Reflec has combined a tough rhythm section with a growling 303 to create a high energy roller guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving. Continuing on this trend of heavy hitting rollers, 'Osmosis' is a drum track through and through, which incorporates dark and sweeping atmospherics into the groove true to Reflec's form.

The B side see's host to 'Canyon', a peak time Clergy anthem with heavy, driving drums complimented with a spacey and emotional pad on the breakdown. Clergy 009 is rounded off by a broken edit of 'Canyon' which exchanges the driving kicks for a fragmented rhythmic style, a nod to the UK roots of Reflec's musical style.

Mark Reeve makes his welcome return to the Drumcode fold with a powerful three-tracker ‘Far Away’.

In recent years Mark Reeve has become a pivotal member of the Drumcode crew. His 2015 EP ‘Run Back’ was a standout, before he backed it up strongly with ‘Nine of You’, his collaboration with Adam Beyer that featured on A-Sides Vol.5, ensuring his place in the hearts of DC fans. As further evidence of his importance to the collective, Beyer has selected him to suit up for the inaugural Drumcode Festival happening this August in association with Awakenings. 

Harking back to formative times in the ‘90s when he’d frequent Sven Väth’s legendary Omen in Frankfurt, the title track to Reeve’s ‘Far Away’ is a timeless beauty, driven by a celestial melody line and emotive bass notes that lobs it into the kind of laser-kissed territory that would make even the most jaded of raves throw their arms skyward. ‘Fragile’ follows, a classy bass-driven cut that makes its mark with deep subterranean stabs and punchy kicks. Rounding out the EP is ‘Redemption’ a tougher, heads-down techno workout imbued with plenty of energy thanks to a crafty bass melody that runs throughout.

CRG011 sees the long awaited return of Wrong Assessment. The A side see's host to stripped back, heavyweight, dance-floor rollers. 'Endocrine Response' will have you descending into a subtle trance via its scattering hi hats and brooding synth work, while 'Neurotag' is all about the contrast between the groove and the ever rising minor note, which continues even through breaks in the rhythm, yet drops off without a trace as if it were never there.

The B side continues this theme of mind-bending synths and kaleidoscopic drum work, albeit with a noticeably tougher attitude. 'Virtual Hand' is certainly a peak time hitter, with nods to Mike Parker and Abdulla Rashim in its own unique style. On remix duties for 'Virtual Hand' is another Clergy favourite, Kmyle. He takes the track in a darker direction, moving more towards a sense of dread and frantic despair with nervous hats, claps and snares. 

Those buying digitally will have access to an extra 5th track, 'Ganglion'. It continues the narrative of the record, but with more focus on the driving rhythm and agitated, almost random, synth stabs.

Release Info: 
Its been more than 2 years since I did an original release on my own label. Its been 9 months since I had an original NOIR release. I wanted some time without releases. Some time to breathe, to think and most importantly time to be creative and to experiment. I have picked 2 productions I felt sounded different to everything else out here.

Eruption was already made in the fall 2017 and I have been road-testing it since ADE17 and changed it quite a lot over the 6 months period from when I thought it was finished to what it actually sounds like now. I wanted the track to be brutal like a volcano erupting but at the same time have beautiful and peaceful elements. Hence the breakdown lava sliding into the middle of the track before it all erupts again. I have spent many hours trying to make it sound raw and unpolished.

Disruption is build around a super simple sequence loop I played by hand while jamming with new pluck sounds. As the sequence got layered and washed in effects it became a quite haunting loop and that led me to add a boys choir to give that feel bigger impact.This track sounds simpler than Eruption but its actually stacked with layers. Disruption is meant to make you close your eyes, follow the rhythm, the simple sequenced loop and get hypnotized.

Already in the 90s Doncler developed a deep passion for music. At the young age of seven he started creating his own Hip Hop mixtapes. With the release of Wutang Clan's Album "Enter the Wutang Clan" Doncler discovered the art of scratching. After saving up enough money, he got his hands on the legendary "Technics 1210". 
In the late 90s Doncler had become serious with a DJ career in turntablism. Shortly after he won his first DJ Battles in Germany.
As of 2001, with the release of of DJ Bad Boy Bill's Mixtape "Banging the Box 5", Doncler fell in love with Electronic Music.
From that moment on, he produced a variety of Mixtapes under different aliases with an europe-wide audience.
In 2010 the transformation of Electro House into comercial EDM was under its way. Doncler could no longer identify with the music and ceased putting out music. 
Six years later, in 2016, he resumed his passion for music but this time as a fully fledged producer. After experimenting a while in order to figure out his own fresh sound, Doncler celebrated his comeback with the release of his song "Systematic". He sees himself on a turning point of his career as producing music is the next level and thus wants to reach out to a broader audience.

Revelation of Sound is happy to present the next guest Eliahh. He is a german Dj located in Berlin, grown up in Thuringia next to the legendary club Muna where he struck his musical roots. His often long sets tell a story which characterized by impulsive techno to melodious indie sound. His sound tends to be cold and mechanised yet somehow retains an element of warmth, perhaps even soul, if you will. Main thing here is that it moves you. 
He played in several Clubs there and also beyond national borders.
To count some of the clubs: berlin (Sisyphos, Arena Club, Watergate, Ipse, Ritter Butzke, Katerholzig, Katerblau, About Blank, Hoppetosse, Larry, Brunnen70), hamburg (Waagenbau, Abrakadabra), kassel (Arm), Leipzig (Melt!), moscow (White Park New Riga Bay), bratislava (Batelier, Rivers Club, Fuga Club), copenhagen (KB18), vienna (Pratersauna, KeinSonntagOhneTechno), lausanne (La Ruche), perm (Sovestbar, Loft19) ... 
Even though he is playing all around the clubs, he organizes his own events. To name one of them: the charity event called ‘Blind’ where all proceeds have been donated to different organizations to help children. 
With his release on bar25 label he presents Deep House elements, while the tracks obtain their unmistakable drive through the vocals by Valentine and challenging melodical arches. 
It is fascinating, when Valentine raises her voice, provoking a melancholic feeling on the part of the listener. Sascha Braemer’s remix drives forward variably with its dramatic composition and synthesizer chords, leaving no dancing leg unmoved.

Lucadjelite AKA Luca Di Natale from Siracusa, Italy debuts on mighty Abstract Space Records with his enthralling EP "Ninfea" which is packed with another glorious underground progressive 'Medea' both giving true colors to the progressive azure. Luca does regular DJ sets in the city's premium bars & pubs, known for his progressive sounds used in his sets. He has been released on World of Media, Firstplanet and Matrix Music Records. We are glad to have such an entity on the label and wish to see him yet again.

The title track 'Ninfea' runs along a sensational drumcode which is supported by infectious percussions and a deep bassline which evolves and carves its way out further on. A dark arp and synth stab paint the whole air dark and keeps things interesting as it rolls down to breakdown where the pads and dark sounds ensure the relaunch in a perfect manner introducing one ingenious back lead. A perfect one for any late-night set!

'Medea' on the other hand with a deliberate intention transports us into the pure melodic world of progressive house. Majestic groove equipped with thumpy kick and dynamic percussions it produces that captivating bassline which keeps the track full of zeal till the very end.
