Based in Hamburg, Doctor Dru hits up a remix of Sailor & I x Eekkoo, receiving strong support from Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Adriatique, Solomun, Jon Monkmon, Nick Warren, and many more.

Alongside his multi-layered history DJing, Doctor Dru works as a drummer, runs his own label, collaborates with other acts such as Adana Twins, and of course, produces his own emotive, wistful signature tracks – such as his release off Exploited’s ‘Black Jukebox 03’ compilation. He’s hit up other remixes on OFF, JEUDI Records and Stil vor Talent, and followed those up with his “Proper Lane” EP and a timeless remix of Claptone’s huge hit “No Eyes”.

In terms of performances, he has appeared at Brazil’s Warung, Destino and Ushuaia (Ibiza), Watergate (Berlin), Revolver Club (Melbourne), Loveland Festival (Amsterdam) and a many more. While being busy with touring and tune tinkering, Dru also cultivated his own label JEUDI Records, which was founded with his mates Davidé and Takeiteasy. Based on a tightly-knit family ethos Jeudi Records gives Doctor Dru a platform where he is able to truly express his love of music and to A&R new talent from around the globe.

The 'Letters' remix package drops on Big Beat August 5th and will also tap Kidnap Kid, NTFO and Jeremy Olander for additional remixes.

Watergate welcome back two of Hamburg’s finest and most recent international exports: Adana Twins. Last seen on their latest Various Artists compilation, the duo returns with three absolutely stunning tracks of low slung, infectious cuts blurring the lines between House and Techno with an undeniable brush stroke of character the two are quickly becoming synonymous for.

‘Flower Of Cane’ kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising culminating in a climactic crescendo of dance floor euphoria while ‘Ortus’ takes a much more ‘up-beat’ approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline resulting in a gorgeous number ideal for a number of memorable moments.

Wrapping up the originals is the guaranteed summer anthem: 'Relentless fest. Jeppe Kjellberg’ where sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights. Not done yet, we asked none other than the brilliant Andre Lodemann to create his revision of ‘Relentless feat. Jeep Kjellberg’ and he, as always, delivered big time. If the good times were bottled and turned into a three track EP, Euphoria is what wed call it. Direct from the brain frame of Kellerkind, a.k.a Marco Biagini, announcing his upcoming third studio album 'Mindtrip', this EP proves again why he is one of Stil vor Talents stalwart producers. The titular track Euphoria is a hip-swinging toe-tapper from the get-go. Upbeat yet downtempo, this cut is laced with junglesque samples, yet retains a perfectly calibrated atmosphere of dreamlike elation. Stepping it up in tempo, Hypnotique has just the right amount of repetition to draw the listener into a trance-like state, with somniferous synths and pitch-perfect vocals bringing you back to the present moment. Uyezwa rounds off the EP with an exotic flavour: the divine vocals of Zimbabwean Oluhle accompanying Kellerkinds masterful production. The lyrics describe the feeling of a heart in pain, reminding us that to speak is to heal, to let it pass. Distilling the essence of extreme happiness, and tempering it with a heady dose of realism, this EP is a must-listen for those with a penchant for full-spectrum sonic experience.

Pedestrian’s dreamy tune “Hoyle Road” claims the historic second release slot on the legendary James Zabiela’s Born Electric imprint. Quite a newborn indeed, the label was conceived just under a year ago. With a dedicated weekly night at Space’s We Love… party in Ibiza last summer, the project has grown to do many big things since, including a Boiler Room takeover. That was actually Pedestrian’s second Boiler Room appearance.

Pedestrian, aka Jack Sibley, came of age musically in the realm of soulful drum-n-bass, with early acclaim from Giles Peterson on Radio 1 and DnB artist, Commix. But as you’ll hear in this clip, his style has branched far beyond the confines of any singular genre.

The Born Electric Facebook page proudly posted this about their upcoming second release:

First heard publicly closing out James Zabiela’s Boiler Room set, the then unfinished track caused quite a stir, with an untold amount of enquires as to who it was by and when it was getting a release.

We managed to keep this a secret until the time was right & now we can reveal all! Stay tuned for some pretty tasty remixes being announced throughout the coming weeks. Behold!
