@vugzy est un jeune DJ parisien assez discret mais plein de ressources. Capable de mixer les titres les plus obscurs de rap américain en plein milieu d'un set de house, il fait toujours mouche quand il s'agit de surprendre son auditoire. 

Peu de gens ont eu la chance de l'apercevoir en live, mais ses quelques passages lors de soirées organisées par le label Ed Banger en ont marqué plus d'un. Ses influences : le rap US, la techno de Detroit, le jazz et la house music.

Two years after his debut Love Based Music LP, Damiano von Erckert returns with new full length LP, Also Known as Good, featuring guitar work from Tyler Pope (formerly part of !!! and LCD Soundsystem), as well as collabs with various members of Damiano's own ava. family tree: Hodini, Am Kinem, Retrogutt and – as revealed from today's Debut – Tito Wun.

As well as being one of Cologne's smiliest producers, Damiano helps pioneer the laid back, beatsy sound that has come to characterise much of Europe's current electronic music. What is now a well known trait of this (not-so-much-a-)genre, Also Known as Good, ping-pongs effortlessly between house, hip hop, soul and jazz elements. The album's closer, "Work for Love" is one of the quieter, more reflective tracks, with the synth's 8-bit afterthoughts adding a GameBoy-esque dreamy haze to round off the eleven-track album.
