Notize makes his long-awaited comeback to the Great Stuff imprint with three brand new compositions, after achieving notable success with his last release on the label “SIP” in early 2015.

The EP starts of with “Small Minds”, a melodic excursion into unspoiled, and refreshing dance music territory. A spherical, well balanced groove is the foundation for the many layers of hypnotic strings and pads. The smartly used distortion and delay effects provide “Small Minds” with depth and feeling. 

Continuing with the slow-burning “Daya” track. An ideal symbioses of mesmerizing melodies, a marching bassline and an extravagant synth - spreading great vibes throughout. 

Notize is closing out the EP with the incredibly well produced “Recall”. It builds a patiently lapping rhythm, with a haunting lead that splashes around the sparse framework. It is packed with ideas and it’s unique, alluring groove keeps everything in perspective.

@moodswingandtosha reisen auf ihrer neuen „Levi“ EP durch Zeit und Raum. Die drei Mechaniker der Zeit, „Talas“, „Levi“ und „Bakaiata“, werden in den Stücken durch ihr monotones Stampfen dreidimensional spürbar. Zu Anfang noch in tickenden Sekunden, nehmen sie immer mehr an Fahrt auf und schließlich rinnt die Zeit durch die Hände, verfliegt. „Wir haben uns nicht hingesetzt und beschlossen „jetzt machen wir eine EP!““, erklären die beiden Musiker. On Monday, November 12th, producer and DJ Martin Dawson was sadly taken away from us, due to medical complications following a brain aneurysm suffered several days before.

As our way of paying tribute to a very talented man, we (Noir, Habischman and Cari Golden) decided to give away the brand new remixes of "diabolic" that Martin did for Noir Music.
