After a string of acclaimed releases on Token and a selection of remixes, Ø [Phase] released his debut album 'Frames Of Reference' on Token last fall. It earned him outstanding reviews at Resident Advisor ("a display of real power and finesse" 4/5), in DJmag ("a calculated masterpiece" 9,5/10), at XLR8R ("sticks out as an alternate route to the heart of machine music's appeal" 8/10), Groove Magazine ("pulsating techno in which every sonic details fits") and more.

Following the first single “On The Edge / Perplexed” & the second single “Dirtro II” (including the stellar ‘New Device Remix’ by Robert Hood), we now present you the last segment of the series with 2 remixes. On the A-side Rødhåd delivers an epic 10 minute interpretation of the first single ‘Perplexed’, while Robert Hood delivers a second, more minimalistic take on “Dirtro II” for the flip.

It's Boys Noize and after his sterling 'Go Hard' EP dropped last year we are now presented with a mammoth set of remixes. Always guaranteed to get the cream of the dance music crop on editing duty, Ridha has enlisted the likes of Aden, Salva, Club Cheval, Bounce and Juyen Sebulba to chop up his well-crafted productions.

Today we premiere the Pilo remix of 'Excuse Me' and the Boys Noize Records regular has nicely raised the tone with sidewinding synths and explosive drops. There's some slick vocal cuts and beautiful builds, making this a remix that no doubt has the full seal of approval from the Noize.

Premiere: GHEIST Ft. Bayker - Salvation

A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.

Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he’d have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches. A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least. 

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track ‘Capsule’ – a shimmering slice of techno - involved “around 15 different versions” the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.  ‘In Love’ is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that’ll have hairs standing on ends. ‘Atmosfear’ is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. ‘We Are E’ is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists’ shared love of classic UK rave.

One of the most interesting acts that's released regularly via трип​ though is PTU, a duo comprising of the USSR-born Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea. 'A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day' is their latest EP and the seven-track odyssey touches upon all aspects of their production set.

We've got the first play of 'Yes', a high-octane, frantic techno jam, one that twists and turns like a demonic runaway train. It's intense and should be approached with caution, but also one that typifies just how diverse and bold трип​ is as a record label.

Roman Lindau is back and in true Lindau fashion delivers three groove heavy, red hot tunes ready for full on dance floor destruction with his ‘Acid Bells’ EP. The title track 'Acid Bells’ fires off with agile percussion before quickly adding an infectious melody and vocal snaps brimming with attitude before finally unleashing a timeless acid hook which solidifies all the elements into a massive, peak time occasion. ‘Rough Ride’ follows suit but takes a more modish approach with lively grooves and hypnotic, whirling sonics that guarantee a wild floor burner. Wrapping things up is the final track ‘I’m Restless’ which perfectly balances powerful, four-to-the-floor Techno with moody, uplifting melodies assuring those moments where all eyes are closed and all hands are in the air. We Are The Brave is now a label firmly on the electronic music map, with the huge success of its debut single “We Do What We Want” from Alan himself, they have since followed up with a selection of dance floor beasts from Boxia, Darius Syrossian, Skober and a special remix from the late Trevino.

The labels 10th release comes straight out of Scotland, as Gary Beck makes his debut on WATB with “Just One More”. Gary is no stranger when it comes to producing true underground techno, but the title track on this release is also accompanied with a standout vocal which some might not expect.

Finishing off the package “Round My Place” has a mechanical vibe to it, powering some dark eerie synth horns with a distinctive, clever hook in classic Gary Beck style. Alan has been hammering this one out in his sets since April, safe to say its been a hit!
