SPEKTRE’S WITHOUT WARNING RELEASES ON OCTOBER 26

Spektre (Drumcode / Respekt), one of Britain’s hottest techno duos, attacks the techno World with an unprecedented single!

“Without Warning” is Spektre’s case study on today’s Techno. Uncommon, speedy, dark and above all, trippy, it is a track that rewrites the rules on how a proper track should be.

Melancholic and dark, but precise and crisp at the same time -a typical Spektre characterstic- “Without Warning” is composed upon the concept of making a difference. Huge bass pads bring out melodies that move and travel the audience while on the same time spacey strings and groovy drum patterns generate the antithesis that makes the energy circulate in this excellent track’s veins.

Thomas Schumacher’s (Drumcode / Noir) approach is manifested upon pure energy. 
Advanced engineering and authentic inspiration meet, to create a perfectly blended dark-as-the-gates-of-the-underworld killer groove and fresh rhythmical elements, all mixed along to forge a track destined to stir bedrocks and definitely question their structural rigidity!

D-Deck (Alleanza / Phobiq) inserts his life experience in music-making into his remix and totally transforms the track, generating a new existence. This is a 4 AM track, definitely made to move large crowds. Rigorous and stern, yet driving and melodic, it’s based on a solid drum pattern that concludes to an epic buildup where all melodic elements join the harmony and add their own perspective to end-up in a huge drop.

"Steve Mulder’s Orange Recordings has already released tunes from the likes of Tom Laws, Loco & Jam, Filterheadz, Gary Burrow and Tomy DeClerque, and this month welcomes one of London’s top live acts to the label, Saytek.

Coming alongside the return appearance of Irish techno star Mark Greene, Saytek puts in some excellent remix work for the title track on Mark’s Manipulate EP.

The release groups together four tracks, with the Manipulate, Majority and Le Pac originals sitting beside the remix. Running a premiere for the edit we’re greeted by an arena-filling techno production that lines up pacing percussion, massive kick drums and huge atmospherics.

Twelve months on from his outstanding debut album on Drumcode ‘Transmission’, Julian Jeweil returns with a stellar five-track EP.

Since his label debut in 2017 with EPs ‘Rolling’ and ‘Space’, Julian Jeweil has confirmed his place as one of Drumcode’s most vital artists. He’s been a mainstay of label events, playing the main stage of Drumcode Festival in both 2018 and 2019, Drumcode Halloween in ‘19 and multiple showcases at Watergate in Berlin. ‘Transmission’, his maiden LP, dropped in January 2019 and was an early year highlight, reinforcing his production nous.

Inspired by his experiences touring off the back of the album, ‘Schema’ EP offers up a quintuplet of cuts showcasing the rawer and ravier side of the Frenchman’s sound. The title track is an immersive roller, primed for a Sunday session at Berghain. ‘Outline’ ups the intensity with cascading synth effects and galloping beats. ‘Music’ is the delicious brain-scrambler thanks to its intoxicating brew of shuffling beats, vox and swirling acid. ‘Axis’ is a slam dunk of industrial bass and 303s that builds to a grin-inducing climax. ‘Landscape’ plunges the atmosphere into deeper territory, still propelled by a pummeling bass and acidic inflections.
