The Journey Bio 2022

Embracing electronic music’s poignant zest, The Journey are delivering studio output supported by pioneers and humble music enthusiasts equally.

Built to keep dance-floor hearts full, the Melbourne based duo have knelt to electronic devotees on one knee, gracing stages at the iconic Rainbow Serpent Festival, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic and Strawberry Fields Festival, while having cemented solid tours throughout Europe in 2018 & 2019 and again in 2022.  Delivering ammunition for festival, club and afterparty, The Journey have earned themselves a place on some of the world’s finest labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Bedrock & Einmusika whilst also being remixed by some of the industries elite in Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, PARIS, CIOZ, Re.you, Rafael Cerato and Florian Kruse, the list goes on.  The Journey have added their own flavour to a number of world class artists, remixing the likes of Super Flu, Bebetta, Betoko, Sharam Jay, Luke Chable and Quench’s 1993 anthem, ‘Dreams’.
 Their remix for singer-songwriter Running Touch on ‘My Hands’ acquired a well-deserved spot on the 2019 Ministry of Sound Annual.  The Journey also attracted prodigious recognition after remixing the iconic ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi resulting in them being nominated for The Age’s Music Victoria Electronic Artist of The Year alongside Dom Dolla, Client Liaison, Harvey Sutherland and KLLO.  Their original works, collaborations and remixes have amassed three ARIA Club Chart #1’s, and a handful of Beatport top 10’s in their respective genres whilst being played and supported by the biggest names in the industry.

The road ahead derives inspiration from the last year’s vibrant success - musically on some of the world’s most celebrated record labels, amidst stacking shows across the Australian summer and straight to Europe where the pair’s third tour of the region is imminent.

Mekhruzz is a native of Tajikistan who expresses the culture of his people through the prism of electronic music. In his music sets Mekhruzz organically mixes the culture of the East and Europe.



His favourite styles are down tempo, organic house, melodic house, afro house.

Biography
Hailing from the one of the most beautiful cities from Europe, St. Petersburg are Space Food, an eclectic DJ/Producer duo in the world of underground music. 
This music project is created by two producers, Vladimir and Leonid who joined forces after working and sharing similar style, taste and musical vision.
Their musical experiences and individual life stories helped and inspired them to form their vision of producing Electronic Music, which received instant feedback from many famous DJs and Music Producers such as Mark Knight, Watermät, Kokiri, Stan Kolev, Matan Caspi, Miss Monique, Dylhen, Nicolas Rada, Morgan Page, Tough Love and many more.
They have released their works on labels such as Toolroom Records, Heinz Music, Outta limits, Hoomidaas, NCTRNL, Moonbootique, IAMHER, Get Twisted Records.
Their current work rate and dedication to their craft has seen them climb Beatport charts with consistent releases and support from DJs worldwide.

Eklektisch is the label run by esteemed Spanish DJ and producer, Edu Imbernon. Since 2008, the label has showcased a wide range of house and tech styles from a number of established and breakthrough artists. As well as the boss himself, the likes of Coyu, Uner, David August, Solomun, Los Suruba, Henry Saiz, Rodriguez Jr and many more have released on the imprint. Perfect electronic music for the more discerning dancefloors is the label's mission, with many of the releases being played by top spinners including Agoria, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, X-Press 2 and many more besides.

A Buttress is an architectural structure which serves to support or reinforce a wall. 
By the musical point of view of the founding members, Buttress is a record label which aims to give a solid contribution to djs, dancers and listeners of electronic music in their daily mission to build the soundtrack  of their lives.

The producers duo was formed by Ivan Bragin and his brother Fedor.
From the very beginning onward it became clear that their passion for techno music would take centre stage in their lives. 
BRAGKEN’s approach blurs the lines between Melodic Techno, Progressive House, Indie Dance and provides a very personal vision of electronic music. Each track has its own unique storytelling through the deep atmosphere of mesmerizing melodies and original sounds. 
BRAGKEN is a Live Act that plays only its own music with improvisation, that’s why each performance becomes unique and memorable.
Such authorities like Solomun are now regularly playing BRAGKEN’s tracks during sets.
