In the summer of 2013, Above & Beyond performed some of their best-loved songs acoustically as part of a 15-piece band, across four sold out shows at London's famous Porchester Hall which formed the basis of the "Above & Beyond Acoustic" studio album. The album was recorded in the spring and summer of 2013 and features a 24-piece orchestra.

"The acoustic project is a reconnection with the musicians that we were before we met", said Above & Beyond's Tony McGuinness. "The songs have been on an interesting journey to get here because we tend to write in a fairly acoustic way anyway. We don't just stick a bit of vocal over a dance track - that's not how we work. We try to start with a song and it's usually only later down the line that we take certain elements from that song and progress them into a more dancefloor-friendly version".

With Above & Beyond "Acoustic", the group are putting aside their CDJs and lighting rigs to showcase their deeply-rooted musicianship and classical training. A band first and foremost, Above & Beyond are songwriters as much as they are DJs. Working with three singers, a string quartet, harpist, drummer and bassist, Above & Beyond are pushing the boundaries of dance music. Tony McGuinness sings and plays guitar, mandolin and ukulele, Paavo Siljamäki plays the grand piano and cello, and Jono Grant plays the Rhodes piano, guitar and vibraphone.

Brazilian producer Diogo Strausz makes his return to RNT with an incredible pair of new tracks, each remixed to perfection respectively by Kai Alce and Lex Wolf. Canto Das Trés Raças is a classic of legendary proportions, and Diogo’s new cover version both honors the original and brings a fresh new take, entirely re-recorded and primed for the dance floor. Ever-reliable Atlanta deep house don Kai Alce turns in an incredible soulful remix that feels like an instant classic. On the flip, Diogo’s original tune Caramba strikes a lighter tone, with arpeggiated synths and a cheeky vocal, giving Kraftwerk meets Marcos Valle at the disco. We are not sure anyone ever reads these texts at all, we are not even writing them for someone to read. But we do nonetheless write them to remember. To remember that @Ninze is the first artist Rambalkoshe officially booked, to remember how we were revamping the space with family and friends and how we were carefully choosing 100 individuals to invite to our first live set. To remember how we created xoromat - which ended up becoming one of the cornerstones of our soundcloud page - and how Ninze got terribly sick and was ultimately unable to come. And now that you are listening to this mix, you perceive it as just another of Ninze’s sets, but for us and perhaps for him it’s a whole different story whose embodiment is this music. Hence, the text lags behind music and the artwork in terms of significance on soundcloud, but it would definitely be far less interesting without it.

We instantly fell in love with the sounds of @esteble, once we encountered their work on labels such as Anjunadeep, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, Laut & Louise and others. Soon after, we met the Dutch duo in person during ADE 2018 to discover two energetic, cheerful and humble guys pursuing a true musical vision. Naturally, we asked them to cast their sounds for us and here it is. They've graced us, and you, with an incredible journey into distant soundscapes and beautiful sceneries... Dig in.

The album "Vogue IV" is out now in all good music shops and streaming services. Vogue is a series of music that was produced for several fashion campaigns. 

"Vogue" offers a big variety of different styles of electronic Music, somewhere between Lounge, Triphop and jazzy Deep House. Originally the tracks were produced for fashion shows, but make it easily into your player or lounge. The wide musical range works in any situation and mood and stands for a remarkable stylish lifestyle. PNFA a.k.a. Wolfram Gruss produces mostly electronic music for the club since 1994, which gained already international acclaim and were published on labels all around the globe, for example on Ministry of Sound and Sony Music. Despite the eclectic mixture of styles on "Vogue", the trademarked quality PNFA sound is still clearly recognizable. A very enjoyable record.
