February 7th is Nujabes' and J Dilla's birthday. These 2 artists have largely inspired today's sound of both Aso and Chillhop. With this EP ("Two / Seven" signifying February 7th), we want to pay tribute to artists who largely laid the foundation of what we are doing today. While Dilla and Nujabes are no longer with us, they live on through the sounds of artists and people inspired by their music. We hope you enjoy these tracks.

The Finish Line. A remarkable EP from the extremely talented, Boston based 'Middle School'. After collaborating with Aso for our Spring 2018 Essentials compilation and returning again for the Fall release the same year, we are excited to release this 8 track offering this July. 
Featuring a strong host of features (Taro & Mitchel Forman to name a few!) and beautiful artwork from Māra Drozdova, we are proud to finally be able to release this to the world after bumping it in our office for the past few months.
