GDE's ADE Cultural Event, The Sounds of Blackness, became a canvas for powerful expression. Street artists 👩🏽‍🎨 Erico Smit & 👩🏻‍🎨 Noël Deelen painted emotions stirred by beats and rhythms, creating masterpieces in real-time.

I promised myself I'd be more active with my mixes this year. More willing to share my collection. So I put together this mix of jazz, soul, jazz funk, Latin and other vibes to accompany me and possibly you on your walk. 
I do love a good walk, it gives me time to process, re-connect and generally be at peace. Normally I go out with a playlist, but I felt the need to put these in a mix. So here is the result. A very relaxed collection of music, just perfect for you to stroll too. Take your time and meander down the gravel path until we get to our destination.

Living between Leeds and Manchester playing at various venues like; The Refuge, Partisan, Hidden, playing at nights like Electric Chair and Love Muscle. Kim has played alongside DJ Sprinkles, Xpress-2, Danny Rampling & Jon Pleased Wimmin to name a few... just before lockdown with OctoOcta and Eris Drew at her own local night Valley Fever.
