San Francisco meets Bristol. Skorpion and Sceptre combine their forces for the syncopathic Temple Run.

"I first connected with Sceptre by being a viewer of his production tutorial YouTube channel. I was sucking up all the knowledge I could find to improve my skills, and he has a knack for detailed explanation of difficult topics in music production. As I progressed in my own productions and became a part of his community, I started moderating his Discord channel and sharing music. 

It took some time for us to land on a track to collab, but when I sent him Temple Run V1 it finally clicked. I had started the tune with the inspiration being the original iPhone game "Temple Run" - anyone nearing 30 will probably remember it, dashing feverishly from side to side while running through the jungle avoiding pitfalls and enemies. This inspired the heavy rolling tribal drums and dissonant chugging bassline. 

The tune turned out better than I could have hoped, and we were even lucky enough to have it be our first VISION radio premier, a huge goal to achieve! We are very excited to share the tune as a free download with All172Things. In the near future, keep your ears peeled for Sceptre's EP on LOST recordings coming later this summer. Skorpion has releases slotted on the likes of Abyssal Music, In The Lab Recordings, The Juiceboxx, STONX, Momentive, and more!"
