Bredren have been steadily carving out their own niche for several years now, to ever more acclaim. Last year they started their own Bredren Invites night at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels, their home stomping grounds, to showcase their style alongside likeminded spirits such as SpectraSoul, S.P.Y., Alix Perez and Skeptical.

Rampage invited them to bring the concept to the stage of the biggest drum&bass and dubstep party in the world, and bring a few of their resident dj’s along for the ride. To celebrate this appearance, they put together an EP with all the dj’s that joined them; Phase, MC Mota, One87, M-zine and Scepticz: four excursions into the deep end of the drum&bass spectrum.

With six tracks exploring his minimal and experimental side, Black Barrel demonstrates his versatility to great effect.

From the rolling funk of the title track “Fabric” to the minimal, mechanical glitch of “Not Your Floor” this EP shows an alternative view to a producer otherwise known by some for his harder edged production.

“Breeze” features the vocal talents of KSR, with lyrics sure to strike a note with anyone who has longed for the safety of sleep or dreamt of escaping their daily struggle.

Confusious - Quality Control [Premiere]

With the world in its current state of uncertainty, P LAB Recordings has carefully curated a considered group of new and seasoned producers and are proud to present their first compilation album, Lockdown LP.

Exploring the deep and techy side of drum’n’bass and including tracks from Invadhertz, M-Zine, Jaise, D-Struct, Krypta, Xenon, Ivoree, Nemy, Division & Endorphine, the Lockdown LP is a journey through various cold, dark spaces and moods and is executed with explicit detail and meticulous precision.

The LP is available through a ‘Pay What You Want’ download via Bandcamp with all proceeds being donated to the UN Foundation, the world’s leading organisation fighting against Covid-19.

Next for Incurzion Audio is our first release from London based producer and Lost Recordings co-owner Draize, who brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep, dark style very fitting to our sound. This four track EP, aptly titled "Evil", is a low frequency driven, sound system rattling, deep and dark monster. Draize's inspirations are truly apparent in the sound he has developed, having been musically influenced by artists such as Noisia, Alix Perez, and Jubei – and with heavy influences from game series such as Resident Evil.

The title track "Evil" features Jack Light on vocal duties, and is perfectly crafted to display the dark overtone fitting to the EP as a whole. The lyrics are a brilliant complement to the ambience and the pacing throughout is faultless, a very well crafted drum and bass number. Also featured in a drum and bass tempo is Mudokon, a fast-paced, techy track fitting to the heat of the dance.

In a brash display of his diverse production ability, Draize also brings 2 tracks at a lower BPM. Dr Birkin ft. DOt. and Nest are both major sub-heavy tracks with a much reduced tempo, each with a distinct twist on the dark theme and with uncompromising quality and attention to detail.

Draize's "Evil EP" is a continuation of the impeccable quality deep and dark productions Incurzion Audio is known for, and we are incredibly grateful to add this to our release schedule.

UTTERSOUNDS & DYZLEXIC team up to deliver their single VIPER as the latest release on IN:DEEP MUSIC packed back to back with a remix from GLYPH. Each well known within the Australian drum & bass community, UTTERSOUNDS & DYZLEXIC have more than two decades of combined experience within their country’s scene, from UTTERSOUNDS radio show “The Ones & Twos” and previous releases on labels like Santoku, and Boey Audio, to DYZLEXIC’s long term hosting for bass music events including Twisted Audio, Dark Riddims, and Snakepit sound. Belgian remixers GLŸPH bring with them a similar pedigree of releases on labels including ProgRAM, Overview, and Symmetry since the project’s founding in 2009. 

UTTERSOUNDS & DYZLEXIC’s VIPER marks the single’s A-side with a soundscape of darkened metallic timbres pierced by a razor sharp combination of DYZLEXIC’s expert lyrical delivery and UTTERSOUNDS striking snares atop the backing of a brooding bassline. GLŸPH then inject the original with an infusion of tensioned tech, searing the track’s bassline with intensified high harmonics and emboldening the former’s stealthy drumbeat with further intertwined percussive sequences.

With their single VIPER, UTTERSOUNDS & DYZLEXIC deliver a subtly edged cut of umbral drum and bass coiled to strike darkened dancefloors worldwide, which is followed by GLŸPH’s deft distortion of the track’s tones for a remix that emerges further from the shadows. Taken together, the single’s twin tracks strike home on IN:DEEP MUSIC amidst the label's definitive catalogue of depth focused drum & bass.
