The artist behind DWARKA, when asked about its central theme, shared that they aimed to create a sense of sustained mystery without overwhelming the listener. They crafted a space that feels familiar, with building structures and architecture, yet strange and delicate due to decay and ruin—theories of destruction.

Sleepnet played a significant role in inspiring this creation, as did Angelblade, influencing the artist’s approach to production and emotional exploration.

One intriguing story from the making of DWARKA is the accidental omission of sub-bass in the first section of the drop. A plugin malfunction prevented the original project file from reopening, resulting in a unique contrast between the subtle first section and the bass-heavy second part. This happy accident highlighted the beauty of imperfection in art.

As you listen to DWARKA, the artist hopes you’ll feel a sense of immersion—a slow journey that transports you to a place you’re not supposed to be, where unexpected discoveries await, much like stumbling upon a lost city deep in the ocean.

Third on the Galaxy Swimming EP is Eternity, a collaboration with fellow Russian producer Black Barrel that switches the tone of the EP to a funkier groove. It rumbles in with a buoyant uplifting intro full of hats and snares. A midrange sub and synth rhythm emerges, drops out and then smashes back in with conviction, fluctuating to the beat. This one ebbs and flows on, a real roller adding an extra flavour to the release.
