For AXR015, we welcome Dutch duo Binary back to Axon Records with a three track EP.

Opening the release, we have the EPs namesake, ‘About You’. Starting with an atmospheric drop, a bed of pads and melodic stabs give way to building toms and percussion, which break into a techy dance floor roller. With strong low-end elements and snappy drums, it’s a strong start from Binary.

‘Plexus’ is the second track on this release. This futuristic, techy and punchy track is quick to launch. Featuring plucky leads, rolling drums and pulsating basslines, it is guaranteed to rumble sound systems across the globe.

To close, Binary provide us with ‘Frequent’. Containing a modulated plucky bass line and driving top line melodies, this energetic dancefloor track is a powerful ending to this incredible EP.

Once again, Binary prove that they are at the forefront of modern Drum & Bass, and we are honoured to have them within the Axon Records community.

When the expertise of multiple talents is combined, the result is always something to be remembered. That’s why we are excited to unleash ANIMA’s first EP, entitled ‘Hermetic Principles’ to the Drum & Bass world.

Proud to be part of this project! C4C Recordings has been a dream of mine. It was actually because of the mighty Optiv that I found dnb. He served me in Dancetwo Records when I actually went in for some happy hardcore, he gave me molten beats and inside the machine along with some white labels of the Cause4Concern stuff which instantly caught my ear.
