ALIBI is the combined effort of two of Brazil’s finest musical exports, DJ Chap & Level 2. Both individually respected and accomplished artists in their own right, with past releases on labels such as V Recordings and Innerground Records. The pair have now joined forces to form this brand new outfit. After sending us their first works under the new alias we picked two of their strongest tracks to present to the world as their debut release, Silhouette / Restless.

Silhouette is a silky smooth number with a deep edge. Catchy beats form the intro along with old skool sounding pads. Growling mid basses start to automate in towards the drop upon which we are treated to low subs and sublime vocal snippets.

On the flip we have Restless. A more of a bouncing affair here as ALIBI take us on a journey full of twisted bass, tightly produced beats and mystical soundscapes. 

Taking into account their past achievements as individual artists we strongly believe that this single is just the tip of the iceberg for ALIBI and we are proud to sign this new and exciting act!
