This  EP is a culmination of all the tunes that I have been working on over the last year. Lockdown made it hard to be creative for me but here is a selection of what are the best pieces of work I made over that period and all available for free!

Jewgeni Belokon aka Fixrow ist ein Rohdiamant, der inzwischen in der russischen Hauptstadt lebt. Fixrow wurde vom Klang des Drum and Bass angezogen, als er 2011 Pendulum als Band hörte und später das DnB-Genre als solches entdeckte. Im Laufe der Zeit, als er mehr Tracks hörte, bemerkte er, dass es viele coole Musiker in diesem Genre aus Russland gibt. Das inspirierte ihn und er beschloss, sich selbst in dem Geschäft auszuprobieren. Fixrow mag die Atmosphäre in den Tracks und versucht, sie in seinen Arbeiten selbst zu erschaffen – wenngleich das Konzept von „Atmosphäre“ für jeden ein anderes ist. Beim Kreieren seiner Kompositionen legt er sie nicht in erster Linie für den Dancefloor an, sondern eher für unterwegs auf Kopfhörern. Er achtet mehr darauf, Pads dafür zu erstellen. Nachdem unsere Scouting-Abteilung Fixrow ausfindig gemacht hat, sind wir deshalb in besonderem Maße stolz auf „Dark Tales“, denn es ist erst das zweite Release überhaupt, was unter dem Pseudonym Fixrow erscheint. Wie von ihm selbst beschrieben, erwarten euch drei Tracks mit absolut verdichteter Atmosphäre. Mal düster und klaustrophobisch wie beim Titeltrack „Dark Tales“; mal aggressiv und mit tödlich perkussiven Stabs versehen, wie in „Exodus“ oder schaurig und verfolgend wie in „See Something“ – Fixrow avanciert für dieses Release zum Erzähler von drei individuell dunklen Geschichten voller Geheimnisse. Auf auf, liebe Hörer, geht mal schön auf Entdeckertour!

Yevgeny Belokon aka Fixrow is a rough diamond who now lives in the Russian capital. Fixrow was drawn to the sound of Drum and Bass when he heard Pendulum as a band in 2011 and later discovered the DnB genre as such. Over time, as he listened to more tracks, he noticed that there are a lot of cool musicians in this genre from Russia. This inspired him and he decided to try the business himself. Fixrow likes the atmosphere in the tracks and tries to create it himself in his work - although the concept of "atmosphere" is different for everyone. When creating his compositions, he does not primarily create them for the dance floor, but rather for on the go with headphones. He pays more attention to creating pads for it. After our scouting department found Fixrow, we are particularly proud of "Dark Tales", because it is only the second release ever, which appears under the pseudonym Fixrow. As he himself described, you can expect three tracks with an absolutely condensed atmosphere. Sometimes gloomy and claustrophobic like the title track "Dark Tales"; aggressive and armed with deadly percussive stabs, as in "Exodus" or spooky and haunting as in "See Something" - Fixrow becomes the narrator of three individually dark tales full of mysteries for this release. Let's go, dear listeners, go on a discovery tour!
