Neonlight are one of the most highly respected production teams operating in drum & bass today. In just three years Tobias and Jakob's killer fusion of musicality, attitude and sheer creativity have seem them with work with the d&b elite, including labels such as Bad Taste, Trust In Music and Viper, earning themselves countless fans in the process. With high profile releases for Lifted, BSE Recordings and Cause4Concern as well as collaborations with the likes of Aeph, Inside Info, Hedj, Mefjus and Black Sun Empire in their impressive discography, Neonlight have become a byword for unique and precise drum and bass.

It seems fairly apt then, that the German duo are reconnecting with some of their aforementioned studio companions for the hotly anticipated Blackout takeover in Room Two this weekend, where they'll join BSE, State of Mind, Prolix and special guest Phace inside the DJ booth. What's more, in aid of the upcoming proceedings have kindly recorded an exclusive promo mix to get us suitably hyped.

It’s that time of year again. Christmas is swiftly approaching and you’re feeling unsure of what to put on your wish list. Do you chance it and hope no one buys you socks, or do you cheer yourself up with a remix album filled with wobblers, wubs, and sought after dubs? Easy decision...

Introducing the long-awaited arrival of Born on Road ‘Remixed’ – an album rounding off what has been a bleak year with something to warm your rave cockles. Dropping December 18th, the album is packing eleven awesome tracks from much-loved label mainstays and beyond, with remixers including Gray, DJ Gaw, Offline, Disrupta, Ben Snow, Marcus Visionary, T>I, Manual and Zoro.

Inspired by what has so far been an incredible journey for Born on Road, the album represents the beginning of a new annual series revisiting our classic anthems and giving them a fresh twist. Whether it’s AC13 breathing new life into one of his most popular releases with a special VIP of ‘Awake’, or Gaw transforming Aries & Jacky Murda’s feel good festival anthem ‘Jungle Style’ [Feat. Spyda] into a heavy roller tailor-made for the heads.

But it wouldn’t be Christmas without a few surprises now, would it? That’s why we’re also including some brand new remixes you won’t have heard before, including T>I’s murky remix of Selecta J- Man, Aries & Blackout JA’s ‘Ninja Mi Ninja’ [Feat. Courtney Melody], and Zoro’s remix of Ben Snow’s ‘Sign Out’ [Feat. David Boomah] – an original causing endless amounts of carnage across the festival circuit in 2019 as a dub.
