Embracing post-irony, ‘I Was Today Years Old’ makes a tongue-in-cheek nod to the ephemeral nature of internet culture. It’s a disorientating assemblage, transmuting contemporary styles into something more fleeting, more elusive.

Our premiere finds Verni time-stretching and weaving disintegrating textures around drill drums and smudged detritus.
