Independent, eclectic, family friendly and host to some bass thumpin' rave sheds. Nozstock caters for festival goers of all types, from the veteran festival aficionado through to those newly affected by the festival bug. It has evolved from a gathering of 50 friends into an intimate musical odyssey joining the dots between pop, ska, folk, funk, soul, indie, drum’n’bass, psytrance, house and a whole lot more. It is now firmly established as one of the country’s leading boutique festivals. 

The Orchard Stage is set at the foot of a natural arena on the side of the gently sloping valley. Alongside the farmhouse is the Garden Stage, which provides a more eclectic lineup, turning electronic by sundown whilst a converted cowshed, the Cubicles, pushes out sub-thumping bass and dubstep through to the early hours.

The festival is truly home-grown and hand-made – quite literally in fact, with a small army of grass roots supporters helping to create the wonderfully themed environment each summer. Nozstock is the quintessentially British festival – a little bit eccentric, a lot of fun, full of wonder, enchantment… and a touch of magic.

When Jesse Royal was only a cub, the Lord revealed to his mother that she would have to release one of her sons to the world, proclaiming “he will be a psalmist, declaring righteousness and justice throughout creation.” As Jesse matured into a young lion, his mother observed in him a strong sense of integrity and a natural ability to positively affect those around him. But, it was his deep spirituality, passion for life and unique connection to music that would convince her that he was being molded to be used by the Creator. 

Jesse David Leroi Grey, aka Jesse Royal, was born April 29, 1989. He enjoyed his early years in the hills of Maroon Town and the District of Orange in St. James before moving in the late 90’s with his mother and brother to join his father in Kingston. As fate would have it, Royal developed a special relationship with Daniel ‘Bambaata’ Marley (son of Ziggy Marley) at school. His friendship with Daniel proved to be fuel to the fire as they shared a deep passion for music and football. Their friendship evolved as they spent a great part of their childhood together. Soon the natural inclination confirmed they were simply brothers with different mothers. As these cubs became lions so grew their devotion to music. With the help of longtime friend Curt ‘Qban’ White they began composing and creating their own music. And together they proceeded to fulfill what they knew was a predestined musical journey, designed to inspire, engage and unite people beyond all geographic borders. 

After Jesse returned home from schooling abroad, he reestablished a relationship with high school friend and young producer Kareem ‘Remus’ Burrell (son of Philip ‘Fatis’ Burrell). They began creating and composing music together also, which developed into a Movement as they shared similar views on the social state of Jamaica. 

Blessed with a voice that captures the pain and hunger of a ‘downtrodden’ people; Royal’s militant character and profound lyricism caught the heart of heralded reggae producer, Philip ‘Fatis’ Burrell. Fatis Burrell, affectionately called ‘Father’ had a great and pure impact on the ‘old soul’ of Jesse; as he credits him as an invaluable inspiration and one of the most influential individuals that he has ever encountered.

Working with musicians such as Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Donald Dennis, Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith and Monty Savory; Jesse is currently in the studio putting the final touches on his debut album with producer Kareem Burrell of the XTM.Nation. Jesse Royal has released three mixtapes , Misheni, In Comes The Small Axe and Royally Speaking with Major Lazer. His Debut Album "Lily of The Valley" is now available on all digital platforms.

After a great 2023 releasing 3 massive tunes and really getting the ball rolling behind the scenes, WAKT are excited to keep that momentum going into this year with a few shows being finalised now and more to come plus a few new releases you must keep an ear out for. Stay safe patients 🤘

With conscientious and controversial bars, simplistic yet techincally refined riffs and hooks that seem to have been stolen direct from captain birdseye himself, a concoction that will be sure to have the crowds bouncing!

1EYE are excited to announce the forthcoming release of their debut album 'Worries & Trouble' on Industry Records Thursday 13th October 2016 available on all major digital distributors. 1EYE are blessed to have recorded with UK reggae legends Tippa Irie, Michael Grant from Musical Youth and Apache Indian.

Taking inspiration from artists such as Prince Buster, John Holt and UB40, 1EYE have produced an infectious sound that immediately engages and excites their audience. 1EYE adopted a classic approach to writing Worries & Trouble that discusses the comical side of everyday life, political issues and bittersweet heartbreak. The album is set to be a modern classic that people can connect with on every level. 1EYE have a retro a sound that embraces rocksteady, reggae, dub and ska.

The Barefoot Bandit are a heavy-weight ensemble based in the
South-West, UK. The band mixes various musical styles,
incorporating elements of reggae, punk rock, dub and world
music.

Building a strong and loyal fan base, TBB have spread their
sounds far and wide. Packed out shows at prestigious venues
such as the Electric Ballroom in Camden have seen The
Barefoot Bandit become a must watch act on the UK touring
and festival circuit.
Festival highlights include appearances at Glastonbury
Festival, Boardmasters, Boomtown Fair, and more including
headline slots and main stage displays at some of the UK's
favourite music festivals.

Having reached #4 in the iTunes reggae charts, TBB have self
released 2 EPs. Both records have received national airplay
from the likes of legendary DJ David Rodigan on BBC Radio 1
Extra and numerous plays on BBC Introducing.
The Bandit has had the pleasure of supporting renowned artists
such as Lee "Scratch" Perry, Katchafire, The Cat Empire, Easy
Star All-Stars, Dubioza Kolectiv, Gentleman's Dub Club, Horace
Panter & Lynval Golding (The Specials) and have been regular
openers for electronica dub favourites, Dreadzone.
