Balade d'Automne

The current music scene is great because of the places where music is made and the experiments that are repeated by each personality. For individual creators, it is much more valuable to have an environment where they can come into contact with a large number of personalities than to be spread.

I spend a lot of time actually listening to tracks I like and repost so if my listens aren’t showing in your insights it must be due to some kind of an unwelcome glitch.  Friends have made me aware of the such cases and I have asked SC to correct the situation. 

Most importantly, I enjoy interacting with seriously minded musicianns.  Soundcloud is a wonderful platform for meeting great and interesting musicians.  I  play piano, synth, guitar, bass, bodhran and I sing from time to time.  I studied jazz piano and composing  Contemporary Classical Music and I write for many genres. 

Unfortunately I now feel it necessary to state that I do not use AI for composing music and I object to Ai training of music.  Sampling without written permission from me of any of the material posted by this account is strictly prohibited.

But sometimes SC will show me all the listeners , but other times they only show me the last 2 hours and I have no idea of who listened to what , it is so annoying , and I apologise if I miss anyone out , it's not deliberate , I value every single one of my listeners ! Self confessed Music Addict ! I write and play/vocalise everything myself whether it be real or synthetic . Recently teamed up with Charlotte Thornton , and together we are Charlie and the Fox , it's the best thing I have ever done musically . Hello! Iam an amateur singer/songwriter with a lot of passion for singing and Music.  I mostly sing originals,  but also covers . I like to write lyrics with meaning, something people can relate to. Not necessaraly my own experiences, it can be something i heard, seen or something someone  told me.
I also make music in GarageBand with small loops I put together. 
I am very impressed with how many talented people there is on Soundcloud! And so much love and kindness!

Quentin PETITEVILLE alias DJ YAK'Ô a toujours voulu composer de la musique tel un rêve d’enfant, en pensant que ce n’était pas possible.

Il a découvert le jeu vidéo « Music Creation for PlayStation » début des années 2000 et il lui a été offert des suites logicielles tel, que les eJay sur PC.

Une crise de créativité et d’inspiration s’est vite fait ressentir : cela venait sûrement d’un manque de culture musicale, à l’époque, et l’utilisation d’outils trop simplistes.

Puis est venu l’arrivé de l’Internet haut-débit, Quentin a pu donc partager ses compositions sur son site web et sur les forums dédiés à la Musique Assistée par Ordinateur : C’est la naissance du surnom DJ YAK’Ô.

Suite à la réception de critiques et de discussions très enrichissantes avec les différents membres, son style a pu se peaufiner avec le temps.

Des événements, plus ou moins heureux, dans sa vie personnelle l’ont obligé à pouvoir exprimer ses émotions intérieures. Ceci, lié à l’utilisation d’outils plus professionnels l’amène à vouloir travailler plus en profondeur le son et la structure de ses morceaux.

La découverte d’artistes indépendants, de groupes classiques de la musique électronique, tel que le groupe allemand Kraftwerk, pour ne citer que lui, ou alors les musiques de jeux vidéos, lui ont ouvert la voie de la créativité. Sa famille l’incitant à poursuivre dans cette voie.

Jusqu’à maintenant, il s’est contenté de publier ces musiques uniquement sur son site web mais aujourd’hui, il souhaite faire découvrir son travail à un nombre croissant de monde.

Il travaille seul actuellement car il s’agit pour lui de pouvoir « faire parler » ses émotions.
