A Chance To Dance returns with the first edition of February. We have been enjoying so much variety across the many shades of new deep house releases this month.

Starting soulfully, we enjoy some vocal goodness from Smthing smtime on the fantastic new Razor-N-Tape VA which accompanies other great records from 
Wajeed, KVRBVO & Black Chynese. Hitting with a more punchier & dubbier sound comes new ones from Melboure Drum Authority & Fouk.

Mallorca based ESUOH don't release that often, but when they do its always top notch. Hurlees Keep It Real EP displays that classic house sound the label is renowned for and we are here for it! Also included are double whammys from Demuja, a piano stabber from Saison and a little classic from John Billick.

Tune of the session for us though is handed to the new Ben Hauke release on Last Year At Marienbad with the EPs new teaser 'Watch Me Now'.

Joining us this week is a very good friend of ours. He's the first guest to appear across both of our radio shows having been on That Disco Groove back in 2021. Since then, T Sounds has refined his music into a wonderful blend of rolling and deep hypnotic grooves. He has poured the passion from his life experiences into a number of beautiful releases over the past few years. They have earned huge support, take Berry Picker for example, which is now on its approach to 200k listens having been premiered by house heavyweight Houseum. Over the past year he has released on TheBasement Discos, Rewind & Miura with chart support from Reece Johnson, Alex Moiss, Simplex Motive & Doorly. His guest mix is a great interpretation of deep house through his eyes, and with 23 (yes 23!) tracks in one hour, including some of his own productions, it creates plenty of ear raising moments! Dave represents the outfit on the DJ front, playing a mix of deep, leftfield, disco and straight up house under the label's moniker as a guest across the UK as well as regular appearances on Rinse France and a variety of online channels.

Moment Cinetique is a deep-jazzy-disco-house label hailing from Sheffield that has been releasing music from established producers and also breaking new talent since 2018. Artists that have appeared on the Yorkshire imprint include scene favourites such as Cody Currie, Harry Wolfman and Carlo plus fresh names like Simon Hinter, Tiptoes and Andy Ash. Although they only release a handful of tracks a year they've seen their EPs feature in the charts and sets of DJs including Eats Everything, Kerri Chandler, Detroit Swindle, Dave Lee, Jimpster, Melvo Baptiste and many more.

Continuing the slew of releases on Roy Davis Jr.’s Undaground Therapy Muzik imprint, Italian artist Nico Lahs is set to release his Holy Day EP on the label this May. Following on from Men From The Nile and Turquoise Colored French Tourists, Lahs has created a classy four tracker EP to move your body and soul.

Bringing emotion to the forefront of each track, the EP seamlessly blends balearic vibes with soulful Chicago house. Moonlight and Sunday Morning continue with the dopamine hit as loose and funky grooves weave throughout.

Nico Lahs aka Nicola Loporchio is a sound engineer, DJ and producer and has been creating emotive deep house since 2009. A consistent and impressive musical output has resulted in Lahs releasing on labels including; Ovum Recordings, Adeen Records, Delusions of Grandeur, Metamorphic Recordings, Dailysession Records and Moods and Grooves among others. Lahs can also be found gracing the club scene at a number of prestigious clubs including; Cable, Club der Visionaere, Djoon, KaterHolzig, Rex Club, Sankeys, and Tresor. As an artist that is continually experimenting and pushing his musical boundaries, Lahs can also be found under the Cosmic Garden and NLXLB aliases.
