WEB WILD SELECTA SERIES

It is such an honour to receive for the first WEB WILD MIX [Season 1] Series our first guest Hector Pizarro from Paris.
He's giving us in his set a mix of Afro and Latin disco sprinkled with an aftertaste of house and reworks ready to fires any dance floor in the world as he knows how to do so well.

Hector Pizarro is a multi-faceted Chilean artist. He is a talented producer, musician, programmer and radio host(ChileConMix). Resident Dj in many cocktail clubs in Europe for the Experimental group for over 10 years now, Hector Pizarro bathed in music since his early childhood. Throughout his artistic career, he experimented with many styles of music: From jazz to dub (Lee "Scratch" Perry Opening)via hip-hop (Collaboration on Dj Mars album [Time Bomb]) to electronic music with Room 10 out on [Metroline Ltd / Snubb Records] with Guet the other musical half of the project. Very early on, he was driven by a strong desire to share his musical universe. Thus, he opts for an "Open Format" style of Djing, which seems to him to be the best way to "decompartmentalize music". Eager to share his discoveries while offering the public a musical journey as eclectic as it is groovy.

He's giving us an hour of gem selected tracks to create an amazing story soundtrack as he masters to perfection.

backYardboy, producer and occasional DJ, is a Franco-Togolese citizen based in Barcelona.

His sound universe wanders between contemporary jazz, progressive rock, electronic music in all its forms and African music. Fan of Sun Ra or Sonic Youth, of Fritz Wentink but also of Jan Jelinek, his influences can be noted in his productions and in his multifaceted DJ sets.

Moment Cinetique Label owner Dave Platts give us the pleasure of being our guest for this new WEB WILD MIX episode. 
Dave represents the outfit on the DJ front, playing a mix of deep, leftfield, disco and straight up house under the label's moniker as a guest across the UK as well as regular appearances on Rinse France and a variety of online channels.

Moment Cinetique is a deep-jazzy-disco-house label hailing from Sheffield that has been releasing music from established producers and also breaking new talent since 2018. Artists that have appeared on the Yorkshire imprint include scene favourites such as Cody Currie, Harry Wolfman and Carlo plus fresh names like Simon Hinter, Tiptoes and Andy Ash. Although they only release a handful of tracks a year they've seen their EPs feature in the charts and sets of DJs including Eats Everything, Kerri Chandler, Detroit Swindle, Dave Lee, Jimpster, Melvo Baptiste and many more.

|S01E02| Dave Platts - Moment Cinetique [Sheffield]

We are delighted to receive for this third WEB WILD MIX episode K.Mo a talent Dj, producer but also founder and owner of Wayout Records based in Manchester.

In more recent years, Kumo has introduced K.Mo, a new platform with which he explores deeper, more soulful house sounds. Under this alias, he released his first LP ‘Vision’ in 2020, followed by an impressive run of EPs. The Space Funk EP is the project’s latest showing, which features instrumental contributions from Byron the Aquarius, Tim Jules and Chris Bruining. All of this has been under the banner of Wayout Records, Kumo’s own label, which he envisions as a vessel for community and collaboration. “I want it to be not like a label who’s churning out music all the time, more of a collection of people making music we like,” he says. “More of a friendship group of sorts.”

“The people I’ve been working with - either releasing their music, they’re remixing my music, or the musician side of it - I wanna work with them again, rather than get another 15 people involved. I’d rather work with certain individuals over time,” he expands.

This approach harkens back to the glory days of record shops as hubs for building relationships; a human touch that is often missing in the age of cold social media interactions. With K.Mo and Wayout Records, Kumo is building a new warmth, one which he infuses into every groove of his productions. It’s a new era of an artist always evolving.

We are happy to receive for this new number of our WEB WILD MIX Series our guest the talented Sourires from Perugia on the decks for a mix of glittery disco and house music!

Italian Dj & Producer Andrea Antognoloni (aka Sourires) gets the glittery disco aesthetic and adds a significant amount of house groove, creating relaxed yet propulsive club tunes. Originally from Perugia in Italy, Andrea started out as an emerging talent in various local clubs and released his first single in 2013, on Presslab Limited. From then on he continued to improve by releasing other songs in 2015 with the London label Stendhal Records until he released his most successful single in Miami with the music label Mioli. In 2020 his new project Sourires begins, which sees him release various Ep and Edit up to touching the International label of the boss "Prins Thomas". In 2023, his first vinyl labeled Saint Wax Records was also released, appreciated and played by many international DJs. In July 2023 the second vinyl by Samosa Funk Records will be released with more to come soon.

Julia Koffie is a Minsk-based DJ who hosts the WZRD Radio Show on the independent internet radio 'Radio Plato'. Her show is inspired by alternative R&B, Hip-Hop music, beats and edits culture. She's also a co-founder of Blue Tape, a label and a growing community that has the goal to bring together sound producers, DJs and artists from different parts of the world. Starting in a nice musical vibe for this first WWMix episode of the year 2024, we are delighted to receive Ben Olayinka a talented Dj whose influence navigate from disco, soul and R&B to Afrobeat and Amapiano.

When Ben was a kid, his dad used to drive him around the lake in the back of a truck, looking up at the stars, listening to Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti - normal dad stuff. Many countries, homes, languages, and family constellations later, Ben is proud of who he's settled down as - a big, funny guy, comfortable in his own skin, who loves a good bassline.

Today, Ben is the proud papa of Spati Party Berlin, a place for the neighborhood to meet, where kids, dogs, and people of all colors and shapes are welcome to come enjoy being themselves. Like everything Ben does, it's not about being seen, wearing fancy stuff, or even about looking good - it's just about enjoying being in your own body and appreciating the little things in life.

Ben is also a fiery afrobeat and disco dj, part of the dj collective In Living Color, and is just getting started at 32 years young, setting dancefloors ablaze and loving every second of this beautiful thing called life.

We carry on this beginning of the year with our new guest for the Web Wild Mix Series. We are happy to welcome Eloi a talented parisian dj who's 1/3 member of Gare du Nord. Eloi selected a few of his favorite tracks of the moment, mixing Arabic, Italo, Dark Disco and others genres.

Eloi is a DJ based in Paris, member of Gare du Nord, a french trio running a guest series on SoundCloud for the last 3 years, and now organizing events between Lyon & Paris. 
They also used to record sets, and podcasts for Le Goût du son, BPM, or Bordello a Parigi, and running a monthly residency on Radio Béguin (Quai du Béguin). 
Gare du Nord is an exotic land of deep sounds lost in the galaxy. A cosmic territory ruled by feverish rhythms and murderous melodies, where musical genres blend together.

We are delighted to receive for this WEB WILD MIX first episode of the second season Jaguar.B a talent Dj, producer, a long time house & electronic music collector, but also and mainly a genuine music lover.

Jaguar.B is a Meanjin (Brisbane) based, Australian DJ, who has been listening, dancing to and collecting a broad library of house and electronic music, since the hedonistic party scenes of Sydney and London in the late 80's and 90's, with a strong influence from classic Detroit/Chicago and NY house. Having only begun her DJ journey in 2020, Jaguar.B has been described as a "sonic sorcerer" and is a regular amongst the local underground clubs and bars, having supported known international acts. Her sets beautifully blend nostalgia with the new, guiding her listeners and groovers on an emotive journey, with heartfelt vocals, deep raw on the floor moments, and house with bounce.
Electronic music production is Jaguar.B's most recent endeavour since earlier this year, creating  classic raw deep house sounds with her own unique flavour.

Bona is a French artist of Congolese origin born and raised in the Paris region. He grew up in a family of African culture from which he draws a large part of his artistic heritage. From a very young age he found his musical inspiration in numerous artists from different creative horizons. Mainly great artists from the R&B, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, African and Caribbean scenes. Hip Hop also took a big part in the music that rocked him from a very young age.
Singer, songwriter, producer, performer, entertainer and Dj, he is also a photographer when music leaves him a little room for something else. 
Bona Rock&Soul is a complete artist, close to his art and in his DJ set he shares with us part of his artistic inspiration but above all and mainly his love for music.

Kahuun is a DJ and music producer from Bergen, Norway, who has been active as a dj since 1992 on parties and clubs. In the early days 1993-94 he was having a regular underground club night together with Bjørn Torske at the legendary underground club 'Club Phoenix' in Bergen.  His first official 12" release was at Paper Recordings in 1999. Since then there have been numerous releases and remixes.   He also runs his own label Le Rouge Records.

Mac Mizzo began his DJ career in 2021 after being convinced by a friend to move on from playlists and try out mixes. With this after already drawing inspiration from Soulection Radio, he created 'The Float On Sessions' and gone on to present different sounds and vibes for the last three years. 
He has since become part of the Future Beats collective VIBIN IN THE CLOUD, which aims to shine the light on future beats DJs and producers in Johannesburg and curating monthly events.

Rhythm ave. have several releases on small and mid size labels. As a producer, he's all about music. His soundcloud account is where he puts out all his releases and unreleased tracks. 

Rhythm ave. started djing at a young age of 15 years old in his bedroom, added samplers, grooveboxes and the micro korg and jammed along while mixing records. 

That was the very start for him on creating his own remixes and tunes although it took him some time.

He liked jamming over tracks sessions so much that he kept on expanding his set up: added 2 Korg ESX, a Boss Workstation SP505, Acidlab Bassline, Dave Smith Evolver, and a Voice Transformer for live vocals. 

Later on he started to use Ableton as master so he could record everything into the DAW. Years later he just focused on Ableton more and more, not looking at tutorials, and felt like he had to discover the software by himself. 

Rhythm ave. combine today both djing and producing.

|S02E09| Rhythm ave. [Antwerp]

In July 2017, Yuta Yamada started a DJ career under the name SANTA and plays in various genres, mainly House. 
In March 2020, he started on producing Deep Tech / Deep House under the name Yuta Yamada and performing DJ sets based on these genres.

He mainly plays at clubs in Tokyo such as Womb and OATH, but he is also expanding his playing field by playing at overseas festivals such as Defected Croatia in 2022, Shelter Amsterdam, Barcelona City Hall, and Pimpernel in Munich.

As an organizer, he also hosts the House Party "Be flat." and Deep Tech / Deep House Party "The Swirl"  in order to convey the wonderfulness of House Music to as many people as possible and to make them happy.

As a Trackmaker, he has released on labels such as "Rawsome Deep" in US, "Whoyostro" in Ukraine, "Lauter." in Luxembourg, "Dobar House" in Croatia, "Array Music" in Italy, "Dubnation Records" in Spain, "Nopreset" in Chile and so on.
