Inspired by the DJ’s he saw at Midge Death 2008, his first Scottish free party, Wee Dancer bought a set of Technics 1210’s just a couple months later. Since then he has been pursuing his passion of providing banging tunes to the underground techno scene in Scotland and beyond.

During his time as a DJ, wee_dancer has played at club nights, raves and festivals across Scotland and the UK, including the popular club nights Wax Factory, Eurotrip, Megadog, Drum Clinic and Nitric, as well as the recently launched Juiced Up festival. This has seen him supporting names such as Mark Archer (Altern8), Mark EG, Egebamyasi, AGT Rave Cru, Jack Wax, Aaron Liberator, John Rowe and Mobile Dogwash to name a few. More recently, wee_dancer was made one of the chief residents at Glasgow club night, The Apache. 

Wee Dancer's preferred genre to mix is high-energy techno but he plays a range of music including techno, acid techno, oldskool techno, acid house and breakbeat. In addition to his DJ’ing, he also produces his own music live on hardware, with a liveset in the pipeline for 2017. His setup includes the Roland TR-8, Bassbot TT-303, Korg Electribe 2 and Korg Electribe ESX-1. Having just recently played his first live hardware gig in Bristol, the hard, driven acid liveset is ready for the masses!

One of the characteristics Wee Dancer strives for in his music - both DJ’ing and production- is to provide something different. His vinyl collection is varied and carefully chosen and his own productions display influences from his favourite artists whilst retaining his own sound.

Gray, a.k.a Tennar Duntz, is a Scottish DJ/Producer. 
Tennar started out DJing the end of 2013, having invested in a set of Technic 1210s, a barely operable mixer, a job lot of vinyl to see him on his way and has never looked back, truly finding his calling behind the decks. Staying true to his roots, his favourite genre is techno in all its forms, pounding preferably! He has a varied collection of wax from hip hop and house right through D’n’B and hardcore! More recently he has embraced the digital era and got some time coded records set up to practise his scratching skills, play his own productions and widen his collection to contain a much greater variety of music.
You will usually catch him throughout the summer at various parties in the beautiful Scottish countryside. Most likely behind a rig, crafting his mix of high energy beats to get people on their feet! On top of this he shares various DJ sets at respected underground club nights with some of the best local talent Scotland has to offer! Over the years he has supported and shared the stage with some of the most respected names in the UK/European acid techno scene such as Rachel Rakkit, The Geezer, Jack Wax, John Rowe and Mobile Dogwash. The end of summer 2015, he played his first festival, Juiced Up. Dropping beats in "a Crystal Maze inspired holding...turning out some proper hardcore techno." Swiftly after this he was drafted into close the night at Project A-Frame, his second festival, with the Taiko Sound System crew on audio duties providing that high quality sound its famous for! The turn of this year Tennar was quickly enrolled as the resident for a well respected Glasgow based club night, Squelch. 
In summer 2014, Tennar purchased production hardware intent on furthering his musical knowledge and most importantly to create his own unique music. In 2017 his hard work was recognised by a new label in the circuit TwistedVintage Records. He now has 3 productions under his belt, released with the TwistedVintage crew. His productions always get down to business with ripping acid lines, well structured beats, experimenting with new ideas and the focus on creating a unique sound, in a techno genre full of talented artists! The most important thing is he never loses sight of what got him into it, the good vibes and the love of music. Always motivated by the love of the music he keeps doing what he loves and is optimistic to see what the future has in store for him. Lee van Corsa, also known as Lee Hughes discovered rave in 1991:

"There wasn't much to do in Livingston then, still isn't, but in 1991 this event called Awesome 101 started happening at the Livingston Forum every month. A few mates got tickets for one and we headed along, it was just mental, you could feel the bass standing in the queue outside and when we got inside the whole place was going nuts. It was some buzz, we just kept saving up for tickets every month after that, 20 quid was a lot back then..."

Nearly 20 years passed before Lee tried making his own tunes, after trying a few different styles and not being happy with the results an attempt at making an old-skool rave track prompted a change of direction.

"It was a laugh, really. We were always digging out old tapes and sets from the old days and getting all nostalgic. I had tried making tracks before but never nailed the kind of sound I wanted. My mate said I should try and make an old-skool track, and one day I decided it would be a laugh to make something new that sounded like the old days. I even got some old 90s software to use for it, and found it alot more fun making a tune that way. Within a couple of days I had a track I was happy with. I've made a few now.."

And the future?

"A live PA would be fun, proper old style, MC, dancers, dust masks haha.. all that. That's what I'm picturing when I'm making the tracks: a couple of thousand ravers going nuts to a live PA in 1991. I write tracks to fit that picture, if it fits - it's good.. that's my quality control."
