Zurich-based producer Karl Primo aka @lbhonne steps up to deliver his debut long player on @projindigo. 'Present Future / Here There' LP delivers nine solo tracks spanning warm tonal ambiance and deep house tendencies, embellished with effervescent vocals and club focussed frequencies. Lb Honne's 'Homage to Daylight' is woven with unsettling beauty, evoking the spirit of David Lynch's Blue Velvet. Warm, sustained analog pads wash over the listener, thick and melancholic like the Louisiana air itself. A lush, throbbing breakbeat pulses beneath, mirroring the hidden tension lurking beneath the veneer of Lynch's idyllic suburban setting. A poignant vocal sample adds a raw vulnerability, redolent of Sandy's fragile innocence amidst the encroaching darkness.

Halfway down the road, the bright and uplifting arpeggio slices through the melancholic haze like a burst of sunshine after a long and dreary day. It leaves the listener hopeful and optimistic, wondering if it's the dawn breaking and a promise of a brighter tomorrow.

The final katharsis release of 2024 is the 26-track compilation “Physical Force” featuring a wide range of affiliated artists from both the international and local Copenhagen electronic music scene. As the title hints, Physical Force delves into the visceral, bodily aspects of music, inviting its contributors to explore the theme of movement as a central element in their compositions. Each artist was encouraged to focus on rhythm, groove, energy, and the physicality of sound, which resulted in drum-heavy release from start to finish. While there is a consistent emphasis on rhythm and a bodily connection to the music, the tracks vary widely in style and sonic texture, ranging from big melodic anthems, gritty experimental techno, heavy jungle bangers, and beyond.

‘Family Horror X Good Times’ is an extensive 15 tracks compilation, where the label reflects on an intense and impassioned decade. We asked close friends and long time idols to play their part to the full to complete the third edition of the label’s Family Horror compilation series. The outcome is a clear snapshot of the musical inclinations of the three label founders, Sevensol & Map.ache (aka Manamana) and Bender, encapsulating an idiosyncratic, modern house sound that demands an emotional response.
