Sven Lacoste has been deeply involved with electronic music since the 90's. His music is influenced by the legendary subculture, the parties and the scene of that era. Together with Gianni Siravo, he released various productions under the project "Azuni" on labels such as STHLM Audio, Drumpoet, Quintessentials, Morris Audio, City Sport, BOE Rec, Stupendous NY etc.

In 1982, he started music activity as a drummer of hard-core punk band "ZOUO"
when he was 16 years old. Following this, he came across the other type music "REGGAE" and then he knew "DANCE HALL" and he was absorbed in it. 

He did a DJ debut with a legendary club dynamite in 1986. In 1991, he produced a reggae club "club LABIRISH" in Osaka Umeda, and in 1996,
he opened own bar "Bar Relax".

He started MC performance since he was in LABIRISH. In 2000,
he starts activity as a vocalist of "BUSH OF GHOSTS", but it was dissolved in 2004.
In same 2000, he have started other band named "  (Ichi bang boshi crew)".
He is working on as a drummer of the band now.

And it counted vol.15 by the present of 2007.
In 2004, a sworn friend's band "CHIKA MEETS SOUL FIRE" invited him as MC and played it at Fuji Rock Festival. And he participated in big festivals such as LOW LIFE.

In Oct 2007, he released long-awaited solo album
"Tribe Called West vol.2/BUN BUN the MC ".

It's elected one piece this month of November, year of TOWER RECORDS JAPAN 2007.
And it's nominated to OVERHEAT RIDDIM AWARD 2007 of famous Reggae News in Japan.

SPECTACULAR is a Jamaican Reggae artist from Kingston who began his career in the mid nineties.
With his powerful and gripping voice, he describes social reality in Jamaica. His texts are politically and socially committed, they condemn Babylon’s injustice and call for an awakening and awareness for Peace and universal Love. 

At the 1993 Sunwave in Fort Clarence, when he was only 17, Carl Reid’s outstanding performance was referred to as “SPECTACULAR” by the promoter. This was to become his stage name, to which the word “BURNING” was added, alluding to the “Fyah” (fire) that radiates from his music and personality.
In 1996, he recorded his first single called “I Love this Girl” for the label Chop Chop, followed by “Melody in Your Voice” for Gargamel, Buju Banton’s label, and “Push On Through”, “Who Hail the Man” and “Love & Joy” produced by “Sojie” Hamilton and Dean Frazier.

Between 1997 and 2003, he performed in several shows in Jamaica, and recorded with European producers such as Ganglords, Minor7Flat5, and Germaican Records who released his first album “Find Yourself” in 2005, that includes the mighty hit “Voice of the People”..
He came to Europe for the first time in 2003 for a few concerts in Switzerland, and began to be better known throughout a complete European tour in 2004 with Lutan Fyah. He captivated everyone with his charisma, his flow and his natural and warm connection to the audience.

These last few years, he toured through Europe in the sound system circle, and also in festivals and concerts, alongside live groups.

In 2016 He produced himself his latest album « Salvation « in Jamaica at mixing lab studio. Ten songs recorded with great musicians as Sly Dumbar, Robbie Shakespeare , Mikey Chung , Bubbler, George Miller /firehouse crew and 2 featuring :  Anthony B and Lutan Fyah.
