I make music. Sometimes I just like to select music (mine and other's music) in a live environment, play it in an orderly manner, solely for the purpose of making you dance.

Sometimes its energetic and housey, and I release it under my "WLDO" name. 
Sometimes its bassey and it goes under my Bass-Music Alias/Extension name, "WLDO.Bass". 
Sometimes its deep and it goes under my Deep-House name, "WLDO.Deep".
Sometimes its weird or experimental or just nothing like any other genre, so it goes under my test name, "WLDO.Beta".

DJ, Music and Event Coordinator Daniel Harvey aka Dee Boogs, hailing from the north east coastal city of Dundee, has been Djing and promoting events for 20 years.  He was part of the team at Plastic Soul from 2005 to 2011, held at one of Scotland's most respected underground music venues, the Reading Rooms in Dundee.  Where you could listen and dance to music  heavily rooted in soul, from hip hop, funk, reggae, Afro, tropical, drum n' bass, disco and house.  Responsible for pushing the finest local, national and international DJ and live talent.  Guests such as Tru-Thoughts Quantic, Good Times legend Norman Jay, Raw Fusions Mad Mats, The Soul Jazz Soundsystem, Wax Poetics and Names You Can Trusts DJ Monk One and many more who graced the booth over the years.  

After taking a few years out, Dee Boogs returned with his new project Music City, held at various venues around Dundee including the local favorite, The George Orwell Public Ale House.  This time round concentrating on his passion for the music of Africa, The Caribbean and Latin America.  Pushing the future sounds of the new wave tropical music scene currently heating up dance floors worldwide.  And at the same time researching the roots of the music he loves, and bringing them to attention in his DJ sets and current mixes.  

His recent research has taken him to Colombia many times over the last few years, discovering the exciting new sounds of one of the most musically rich and diverse countries in Latin America.  A country which right now is at the center of the new wave tropical scene.  And has a hugely important musical heritage, artists and legends such as Son Palenque, Abelardo Carbono, Anibal Velasquez, Joe Arroyo, Lucho Bermudez and many more, who all have been a massive influence on him and of course all the current crop of artists and labels putting Colombia on the map, such as Cero 39, Frente Cumberio, Ondatropica, Systema Solar and Bomba Estereo, all new discoveries and heavily played in his current sets.  

Now catch him playing his trade at the fantastic Kings in Dundee, from the same crew that brought you the famous Reading Rooms.  This club is on fire at the moment, with regular special local and international guests, recently Mr Scruff, Luke Una, Auntie Flo, Jkriv and MungoS Hi Fi have graced the stage, with many more on the way!

In his sets, expect to here all things soulful, full of passion and colour, moving through the future sounds of Afro, Latin, Funk and Jazz infused Disco and House sounds!
