The song is called Pa'lante and it's a collaboration over production by D.J. Los (he samples Kraftwerk's Man Machine here!~classic) aside from general social commentary it's a remembrance to push forward and a recall to the blood memory of revolutionary resistance over adversities large or small.

"Dreamers Death was written after I found myself having a conversation about dreams. It made me wonder how does one dream so passionately about something and just quit. I came up with the answer that some people just lose hope and faith in their goals, especially musicians. There are millions of people who want the same dream and it takes unwavering faith to believe even when the world is telling you not too. That is when I started singing " My Dreams Will Never Die, Hopeless Folks are just dreamers that have died". I do not want to suffer a dreamers death nor do i want others too. I wanted this song to be an inspiration for those who needed a pick me up when they were down."

Dev Dapree is a Hip Hop Soul Artist and poet from the DMV area . Her vision is to inspire others through music and speak life to people through poetry. Dev Dapree currently has a project called “ Queen Soul” on all streaming services.

“Too Many” is a reflective song on the times, simply put. There are “Too Many” of us dying, crying, and fighting. Really a poke to provoke people to become the change, to provoke new thoughts, spark conversations, ideas, and solutions. By the third verse it really becomes is a prayer, a hope, a request!!! A desire for the direction in the shift for us as a people and culture.

Black and White was a song written and inspired by the darkness of social injustice and systemic racism. Recent events including police brutality across the country and the black balling of Colin Kaepernick all highlight the illness that still consumes our nation. The intention of this piece is to encourage and inspire our people to keep pushing against hate while realizing the power we have when we engage in love and continuous solidarity. Ellie Sandiego is a Woman Emcee from Detroit, Michigan. Heavy Hip Hop vibes, lyrical versatility, passion and grit are what Ellie is bringing to the music industry. Musically influenced by the lyrical cadence of Lauryn Hill, Nas and Kanye west. Also heavily influenced multiple genres of music gifted to us through the decades of heartfelt and honest music and art. "Detroit music is thought provoking and strong, healing and relatable", says Ellie. We explore the historical, present & future context, dynamics, impacts, & potential of hip­hop music & culture on Women, by bringing together leading figures to produce media, music, film & educational opportunities aimed at creating cross cultural exchange focusing on redefining the vital role of Women in Hip Hop.

Ever wonder where all the women in Hip Hop have gone?  We did too so we decided to be proactive and honor the contributions of Women in Hip-Hop every week in an event we created in 2009 called “The Foundation: Celebrating Women in Hip Hop”. The social impact of Hip Hop is a cultural revolution which crosses borders, inspires ideas and influences behaviors.

Encouraging freedom of expression, healthy competition, independent thought, & positive self-identity, this weekly event as a movement focuses on redefining the vital role of Women in Hip Hop. Our mission is to educate and empower the community through sharing love of the arts, inspire change and growth, build leadership, and influence the perceptions and roles of women in hip-hop for current and future generations. Hip Hop’s emergence in global cities through multiple, devastating wars (psychological, physical, and cultural) answers and questions global economic restructuring of our communities.

We bring together artists, activists and academics to stage new conversations about women of color and women of color feminisms across Hip Hop’s cultural forms. Using Media to address the role, images, and treatment of women in Hip-Hop we critique and disrupt status quo narratives and present investigations about value systems and structures of violence and human value, the politics of aesthetics, and women of color feminism.

Participants walk away with a greater understanding of the value of women in Hip Hop as a culture across disciplines.: Art (Graffiti/StreetArt etc.), Dance (B-Girling), Technology (DJing/Music Production/Video), Words (Emceeing/FreeStyling/Writing/Rhyming/Poetry), and Culture (the Knowledge Element of reading, observing video and listening to audio media, discussion)
